Ever since the MOFI pressing of Thriller, I have been spinning my other MOFI albums. Really enjoying the great mix on these albums. Makes collecting these pressings very fun.
Hi Gil… some great albums to have on Mo Fi ! I only have one Mo Fi pressing…. Judas Priest HellBent For Leather. I was in the shop at the time when the owner was pricing it. Only $35 and it was a new pressing so I grabbed it. The price on some of them steers me away at times. I really wanted the Mofi of Billy Joel’s Greatest Hits that came out about a year ago but the price was too high. I actually think it’s out of print now. The Rush looks amazing and I bet that sound is killer. I have been seeing all the controversy with the digital transfer etc. Bottom line if it sounds good it sounds good and that’s all that matters. Five amazing ones you have with the InXs and Tears For Fears ! They just pressed the first 6 Van Halen albums on MoFi too. Hi Chez, rhe MOFI albums can get very expensive. That's why I have a small collection. They are nice to have in the vinyl collection when I can afford to grab them. The debate over digital in the process of One Step albums is ridiculous. Yes, if it sounds good then you got your money's worth. Permanent Waves is the only Rush album I know of on the MOFI label. It does sound amazing! Hope there is more Rush on MOFI. I've been seeing pre order ads for the the first VH album on MOFI. It cost $150!! That is very expensive but I'm sure it will sound fantastic. Hei, Gil! I still don't have any MoFi pressings. Heck I'm not even 100% sure if I have never even seen one! If there's a MoFi that I would like to hear the most I'd say it would be Seeds Of Love by Tears For Fears. The title track alone is just 😎👌! Hi Jarkko, the MOFI pressing for Seeds Of Love sounds fantastic! Such a good mix on that pressing. The original pressing also sounded very good. But MOFI is a bit better in the mix. MOFI albums are great for a vinyl collection but they are expensive. If you find a favorite album and can afford it, got for it! They usually sound very good. Thanks for watching Jarkko!
Oh yes. That show was called Six Of The Best. I have a bootleg of that reunion concert on vinyl and cd. The band sounded kinda sloppy as they didn't rehearse enough for the show. Still great to hear them play together again.
@@kingsdrummer yes you are right that is what I read in the article and that it was held on Mike Rutherford's birthday. It's cool that you have a bootleg of the concert!
