honestly love the sound of the background market in the beginning of every video. it puts me so much at ease. it’s like asmr i can also just fall asleep during the cutting and cooking! keep it up 😴
I decided to make my own calamari. I thawed a frozen block of it in my fridge, I then started cleaning them. It takes a while. I spent 1 hour 45 minutes cleaning and cooking. My son came in and ate almost all of it in 5 minutes. “Mom! That’s great! Can you make more?” No.
25:35 The oil is not dirty. It turned black because they put the black ink which is from the sac of the squid. Japanese people are the cleanest cook in the world.
@@Seracf Japanese people only "Harvest" Fishes, they don't just randomly Get that and kill that, they breed them Fishes, that's why Jaoan have the best Fishes in the world in terms if quality and its Cheaoer there because Fishes there are mass produced in a good way
I have tried squid and decided that I didn't care for it because of the chewy texture. I see by the way it is sliced in this video, what I got here was definitely not prepared correctly. I see the medium large squid in some of the international markets here, and will try it myself. Thank you for you reviews.
I get the impression that with your eyes you ask for help .. poor .. But you can not do much, they themselves are to blame! why are they so delicious?😋😋😋👍👍👍
I didn't eat big squids cause i don't like the texture of it but just by watching this kind of dish i felt like wanna taste it. I hope i could use and make this dish as my recipe when we will do a cooking lab in our school. The looks too tasty.
The coiled greens in the box is a "baby Ferns" Some of ferns are edible, some aren't, In Philippines, we call it "pako-dakan" We usually mixed it with canned sardines, or just boil it and make salad. In a joke term it translates " to be taken a picture" while, In formal term " pako means wings and dakan means baby flower or leaves or tops(udlot)" . Just sharing. Have a nice day.
Nice fact XD I used to be very afraid of those baby ferns when I was a kid, like, "Mom, the thingies are scary so I'm not gonna eat it." Mom: "If it's so scary, then wouldn't it disappear once you eat it?" She had a point, so I ate one. It was good.
