"Nippon Rikugun" (日本陸軍) is a Japanese war song. It was written by Takeki Owada and composed by Toyoyoshi Fukasawa, and was released in July 1904.

The scout soldiers fearlessly gather
Enemy intelligence and return.
Carrying the weight of the entire army,
The importance of their mission cannot be overstated.
3. (Engineers)
Creating paths where there are none,
Destroying enemy railways,
Enduring bullets like rain
While building bridges,
The engineers of our army
Deserve great praise for their contributions.

Assisting the engineers with their shovels,
Assisting the infantry with their rifles,
They silence the enemy,

With synchronized rifle fire,
We intimidate the enemy,
Leaping over barbed wire defenses,
