I personally think he was a horrible cast for Duke Leto Atreides . He was supposed to be someone like a fatherly figure before his death . Alexander Skarsgård would've been the PERFECT cast , but a lot of people can come between Skarsgård and Oscar Issac. I've read 4 books of the Dune universe and have read book one twice. Issac is just not it. As for any biases , I never saw any of the Dune movies before or while reading the books. Never saw the David lynch version.

That particular accent feels "weird" because we're so used to hearing Oscar's natural voice, but that specific dialect isn't usually reserved for LEAD characters.

Yesss! Oscar is just a remarkable actor. He is so convincing no matter what he does.

If Michael Mann shoots Heat 2 I so want Oscar to play a young Vincent/ Pacino. He was and is the only actor that has stuck in my head for that role since I read the book.

Mr.Nobody is a great movie by Jared. Also Lord Of War.

both of theirs performances were divisive as villains with Issac as Apocalypse and Leto as Joker, both of which came out in 2016. Glad, both of them got second chances.

He's an attention seeker, that's why he is sooo lgbt friendly, animal friend, every race friend, etc. I used to be a big fan of him until 2012 but I started to see many incongruences in his behavior and his speech. I'm glad I found out he was just a liar looking for more fame and money.

@@yosoykarito I’ve noticed an arrogance to him but he’s a pretty damn good actor. I think that arrogance keeps me from liking him more. He’s very into himself. lol.

@@TheProphegy He's also a very good musician. If you like him you definitely should check out his albums. To me Daniel Day-Lewis is a great actor, so in that level Jared is not great but he's okay.

@@yosoykarito DDL imo is the best actor on the planet that I’m aware of at least. His ability to disappear into roles was always next level. The only other chameleon actor I can think of that comes close is Gary Oldman. There’s some really great actors out there though.
