The lady is the Artistic Director of Finnish Opera, lol. She said that there are currently around five people in the world who can pull off Nessun Dorma, and Jarkko is one of them. Jarkko opera is on hold at this point, he was offered part in an opera production some time after this, but he refused. He does not do (written) notes.
Maybe you should do Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma review just to get a baseline, lol? And this was a show (Stars stars) where popular Finnish singers compete against eachother doing different genres and also changing characters accordingly. There is a song where Jarkko does Metallica's Unforgiven with this outrageous moustache, of course nailing the song.
@@Kimobubby And he has recorded Nessun Dorma and some other opera pieces, they are in his Christmas albums. Also does he perform these with symphony orchestra or smaller settings from time to time. He is very popular in Finland, having basically three sold out concert tours a year. But totally unknown to the world. Facebook definitely seem to be the main social media for him, but RU-vid is steadily growing.
