Didn’t know anything about this guy but he seemed to help a lot of people even under his own heavy weight of depression, he put others first and loved his neighbor as himself. God knows everything about him and his struggles and I pray he receives our lords grace and forgiveness.

We should always be praying for our pastors. There's so much of their weeks that we don't see. We see them up there once a week, but they're constantly being called to hospitals, funerals, weddings, doing baptisms, dedications, writing sermons and none of those have to do with their personal lives. They too face temptation and struggles within marriage. Then them as individuals is where it all boils down to. The battle is difficult. I wish churches talked about mental health and suicidal ideation more.
I didn't know he died. So sad. Spending time with God and focusing more on who God is verses what I want God to do for me does shift my perspective in small ways... my gifting does involve looking out and praying for someone in the special role such as Jarrid Wilson. As Joyce Meyer teaches "Do you want the 11 day route to reach your promise land, or the 40 year route?" Accept the place you are in, and be thankful for what you have. I really love how he presents himself, he seems like a cool guy. So sad that he was overcome by depression. I remember when I attended a meeting for those who want the alter ( become a pastor) the pastor who was in charge ask me if I was baptized with the holy spirit and I said no, then he told me what have you been free from and I said Depression. He looks at me and said you haven't been free. I went home confused and later realized i haven't been filled with the holy spirit so my body is empty and open for depression. Reflect on this

This is beautiful and uplifting sermon. I love the honest truth and depth of it. I am divorced for a year now. Leaning in God and learning how to be single and loving it is so important. Please be careful when you look at “successful” people who seem to have life perfected and then fall into despair about your own life. Being a “giant” servant for God or being married and having kids does not mean you are significant. Being a “tiny” servant of God or being single doesn’t mean you are insignificant. Lord Jesus, thank you for taking Jarrid home, and may he suffer no more.
I don't believe that committing suicide he will be in heaven, he took life into his own hands...in whatever he was hoping through somewhere along the line he began to doubt and not trust the power of an Almighty God. We are called to be soldiers in the Lord's army. What our faith in God if we can't trust Him through the good and the bad. He gave up, He didn't endure. He gave up the good fight. He stop living by what he's preaching.
By the same measure you judge, also shall you be judged. For your condemning judgements and comments, you should pray he makes it to heaven, instead of deciding yourselves he deserves to perish in hell. Above all, the Lord desires mercy. Thank God for that.

Even murder is forgivable as seen with Paul the Apostle. Suicide is not right, a very selfish act and yes a sin but not the ultimate sin that will condemn you. I knew Pastor Jarrid. It's a beautiful speech said by the Pastor- Young man. Very God-oriented. One may not like being single but it has its plusses. I really like this message. God has a purpose in one's life. Many men are afraid that they will end up with someone they don't like at all. That is the fear of single men which is to end up alone or with someone that you don't like at all physically and emotionally. Men want to do the choosing but it's actually the opposite and men are stubborn when it comes to this vision. Many men believe that Christ God is just for old people, kids, mothers, and single mothers. The purpose to life from this speech is about one having a personal relationship with Christ God and maybe down the road God will bring you someone for marriage, or for you to end up with a caring girlfriend. My prayers for this man & his family. I battle bi polar, and suicidal thinking. It's nothing to anyone else, but to me the person carrying the Cross. Our Brother Jarrid here was crushed by that weight, very real to me, and we're invisible . I'm finding more peace in my singleness. I pray for a wife, but I don't have any faith left of marriage happening for me. Jesus is enough for me I go where he sends me, and we have really good dates. I only watched 30 seconds of the video. I refuse to ever listen to anyone who is married minister to me on singleness. I'm 40, living by myself, no kids, never married, been single 95% of my life, if I find a Pastor that can say the same I will listen, until then only Jesus.

In 2019 no one believes in marriage or relationships anymore it's so sad to watch this world go down hill. The devil has so many people wrapped around his fingers. I am 32 and I prey to God for bringing me my other half.

I liked the part where you was talking about asking God what he wants me to be, before you go looking for someone else. I think I have done that with my life. I am being all I can be but why would I want to be married? Does not the bible say if you are married your going to have trouble? I am sorry you are suffering with depression. I use to battle with depression myself and even attempted suicide once and almost did it a 2nd time, but thank God He has since delivered me from that. I know you were told that if you killed yourself that you would still get into Heaven, but I want you to understand that you were told wrong. Suicide is murder that is brought about due often to fear and unbelief and in Revelation 21:8 it says that those who are fearful, unbelieving, murderers, etc. will perish---they will not enter into the Kingdom of God. Out of concern I pray that God will deliver you from that spirit of depression and set you free. Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit daily because suicide is not a way of escape it's a trap that leads to damnation.

In churches we're promised at the age of 20 once you graduate college you're going to get married. Then when you turn 30 and 35..My age is 35 you will wonder where is that promise at? American Christianity told us it's all about family witnessing to your family your family is your first ministry. Okay What happens to us single people then? The gift of celibacy is what I seek, as abstinence has been my challenge. As a doctor, I am aware of procedures that can entirely remove the sexual apparatus, and I am contemplating undergoing this. My motivation is to achieve sexual purity. Would it be considered a sin to pursue this procedure?
Im feel bad for him but dont preace the word of God then wipe all you preached about him like he is nothing . Im sorry this is upsetting just know we can not reley on what man says we just have to listen to God cause man have too many problems. This really is upsetting
Yes and this is why even though pastors may preach we still have to know God for ourselves and grow deeper in our relationship with him, be rooted and grounded so when hard times come we allow His strength to get is through and the joy in Him as well...not just taking things into our own hands as if we know more then our Creator smh
