Well, Mr. Whitlock, your mighty Rams were held to a mere 3 points for the entire game! What do you have to say for yourself now? Your prediction of a Rams blowout was so far off it's hilarious. After shutting out the Chiefs during the first half of the AFC championship, the Patriots defense shut out the Rams in the first half of the Super Bowl and played the most dominating defense in the last 20 years of Super Bowl history. Holding the Rams #2 scoring offense in the NFL to just three points is one of the greatest team accomplishments ever in the Super Bowl.

Listen I give the Rams all the props in the world but nobody is blowing out anyone. Whitlock is wrong on this. It will be a good game. If I had to bet I would say 30-27 Pats. Concerning the pressure, they said Ingram and Bosa will dominate. They will put Bosa inside and they will hit Brady all game. It didn't happen. With the chiefs, they said Chris Jones is one of the best interior pass rusher in the nfl and, with Ford and Houston, the pocket will collapse. It didn't happen. Why? First the o-line is playing great and second Brady is getting rid of the ball wayyyy too quick. No the rams won't play press coverage, if they do James White will have a field day against these linebackers. I personnaly think Donald will play great as always but lets also not forget his last game vs NE in 2016 against the same o-line: 1 hit 0 sack and 0 tackle for loss.

Great analysis. This game will be won or lost in the trenches. Pats O line is dominating right now. They will run it straight at Donald. Also, watch out for Patterson on the end around. He's bigger than the rams linebackers.

The problem with chargers is that they played zone defense all day so bosa/Ingram never had a chance because brady kept throwing to jw. Had the chargers played man defense all game they woulda had more of an impact.

The amount of bias and hatred towards New England really comes out in a lot of these former players as well as salty media members whose teams get beat every year by the patriots. This Rams defense gives up over 70% of 3rd down when its 6 yards or less. Who leads this playoffs in 3rd conversions of 7 yards or less. New England does. Good luck with stopping it.

This was a good convo. I agree that the running game for the Pats may be the single most important factor here besides the Defensive performances. One thing I’m watching for, just for fun, is to see what happens with Gurley. So much is pointing to him struggling with nervousness, he’s a big loss for that team if he cant overcome it. Think the Pats win this one. Will be a fun game to watch no doubt.

Patriots should be favored, their experience and pedigree has to count. Rams still have a good chance to win, but for that to happen they have to physically overwhelm the patriots at the line of scrimmage and make the smarter plays which is tough against Brady and Belichick but they have a chance though

A lot of very valid points.. RAMS believe stopping the PATS running game.. will give their Defense a better chance of snuffing out TB and his Offense. Good game plan and schemes need a lot of team players.. individual plays are all caused by efforts made.. mental, physical toughness to get your jobs, roles executed... failure in your offense - defense assignments will ultimately lead to a Moment.. because games are won with MOMENTS.. the team that takes advantage of the moments.. WILL BE SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS.

Luke Faulkner Not every Patriots Super Bowl. In 1985-86, they were blown out 46-10 vs. Chicago. In 1996-97, they were again blown out by Green Bay. Once they got Brady & Belichick in 2000, they have been in competitive Super Bowls.
