Unfortunately, he wont, because he is male. And men are not allowed to do good things anymore. And if not that, then I highly doubt CRWBY will remember his new skills and make him trash again.
@@joeyginise6051 Yeah... you're not wrong. I mean, hell, they're really leaning into Bumblebee, and that's only a thing because of harassment from toxic fans.
@@ReaperGrimm5594 Man I remember I was expecting the whole Sun and Blake relationship and then Bumblebee hit me like a truck. Wasted potential but ehh...
@@NoNameTaken117 As I always said: I would be 100% fine with Bumblebee if they at least did a little effort to show it wasn't something they decided to shove in to listen to the fandom. The deleted Sun from existence to make it happen.
Honestly it's so interesting how despite him being back to his original voice, his manner of speaking is still shifted, he's still a bit more monotone, like he was when he was older, just with a higher pitch. It's a good way of showing that he's still affected by his trauma while being younger
He has had hi youth restored, but the experience and age is still their. Assuming RT doesn't revert him back because they can't be bothered to be consistent.
okay but jaune going through the entire 10th volume with his middleaged man sick of this teenage bullshit sass would be so hilarious and i am so ready for it bonus points if he teams up with qrow and ozpin on the sass train
@@notroxa I would find it very funny if Jaune, Qrow and Ozpin/Oscar all just have jealous looks on their faces while being embarassed by their "younger" team mates
While yeah, I like that small touch. I'm gonna miss Jaune sounding a bit older and scruffier. No offense to how Miles Luna normally voices Jaune, but him having a deeper voice suits him more.
@@TheDatabaseNetwork Yeah I'm miss is older voice and look too. It gave the character huge dose of seriousness and gravity. But at the end of the day, if losing that A+ new voice is the price I have to pay to see Jaune became young again so he can relive those lost years with his friends, I'll take it.
@@CharlemagneGuy127 "If you don't like the dork you don't deserve the broken Chad" :P is how I put it. I hope if they do pair these 2 that they make Weis put in effort on her part. Because prior to "The broken Chad" look she showed no interest in Jaune outside of briefly seeing him in a different light after Neptune told her why he went to the dance with her in Vol. 2.
It would have taken a lot of explaining to Ren and Nora if he went back as an old man. Also, it’s touching to think that Alyx kept him in her thoughts when she died.
@@MrGksarathy it might still happen, remember he is still popular with milfs so Willow could definetly get charmed, Winter may try to do something for him and maybe find him attractive and Weiss saw how he would look like and she's definetly will try to get his 'sword'
@@darkpersona1462 yeah but age doesn't automatically equal maturity. You can't walk outside in any major city without running into 30 year olds who act like immature kids all the time. Maturity comes from varied life experiences and the entire point of Jaunes arc is that he was basically stuck in a mental loop so he never got those experiences. He didn't really get the chance to grow. He did the same thing over and over everyday for YEARS. He didn't get to grow in those formative years that are critical for most adults. He's stronger for sure, and probably more jaded, but that's not the same as maturity. I'd place him at 24 or 25 at best to account for the years before he met Alyx and went abit crazy. The years after that don't really count.
@@NRG-REC but he did live those and he did gain the experience any other 30 year old got he may have been doing the same thing for years but that doesn’t mean he didn’t mature at all he has the experience and knowledge anyone else would have gained in 30 years
I’d say he was pretty mature from earlier, but honestly his years were used largely coping with tons of trauma by himself and doing repeated task so many times a day I fought he had time to mentally mature all that much..
She's the only one who responded vocally, but they all reacted. The rest just adjusted their expressions from "I'm happy for you" to "Oh Jaune" smiles.
Yeah, and did you see the goofy little grin he at her giggles? The SS Bumblebee has officially set sail; now we shall wait and see if it's sister ship, the SS White Knight, can make it out of dry dock as well.
I'm going to be honest, Jaune's older appearance and armor grew on me and I can't help but be sad that he reverted back into his 19 year old self. He honestly gave me Kratos vibes this volume
Honestly yeah. And as someone who loves the whole "disheveled fallen hero who is struggling but is still clinging to hope" type of character, it was rather saddening. Also he did have that Kratos vibe, minus the whole "boi" thing lmao
I like how they left white highlights in Jaun's bangs as a reminder of his time there, his form restored but retaining the knowledge and wisdom gained.
I wonder if Ozpin and Jaune will share a moment in the coming volumes. Oz could give Jaune advice on how to cope with his age relative to the people around him, something the old wizard knows all about.
@@VA_Nightshade Not only that, but this conversation could come at a point where the relationship between Jaune and Weiss might evolve to a romantic phase, Jaune should have doubts regarding his "age", giving the perfect excuse for this topic to come up
@@squeaksqueakimaknight Not to sound like a shipper, but you should remember that Weiss's dad married into the family and took their name. Just saying.
This in my opinion can open some interesting story potential for Jaune. He could be the wiseman of the group, and a capable combatant. He could also learn to use his abilities in new ways. I hope he goes full plate with a helmet. Helmets save lives.
I think this volume shows him not a hero himself, but as a leader. As an added plus, the Mantle MILF squad might have a chance now if they can get past Weiss.
Nice haircut here and there. But it really shows a bit of what he's gone through. No longer the bright and bushy yellow hair, more of a high noon cloudy color
@@kratkartan1486 I wouldn't trust it. Knowing the writers, they're going to develop that relationship and at the end, they'll make Ruby and Weiss a couple. ...After all, that's *EXACTLY* what they did with Blake and Sun.
this may seem like a nerf but it isnt,he is now the most experienced fighter of the group which sets him apart from everyone else, cinder is going to get styled on and with jaune not being aged past his prime
If you thought him during that age was past his prime that's a crazy opinion cause he really wasn't. The only thin different about him during his time in the ever after was his mindset
I'm kinda in the same boat (Blame SVToE) In disliking the de aging process. Plus older juane meeting everyone would have been cool. Family drama and angst, his team now needing to get used to the new juane.
But Alex wasn’t to blame for his butt going back in time…. Wait, does this mean that Alex’s wish fixed his sword? That would be sweet. Bonus if it has new powers somehow, though I doubt that.
Unless Neo reincarnated as Alex and when she went through the door to Remnant ended up in the past. Kind of like how the fairytale Jaune is in existed with him being the rusted knight while he was still young in Remnant. The ending of the opening also suggests that Neo reincarnated as Alex by having her wash up in the same pose as Neo.
In any case, Alyx's wish was to "fix what she'd broken." That doesn't necessarily mean to fix only the parts she was responsible for. While she wasn't the one who caused him to age, she did play a part in his slow mental deterioration with her betrayal. So in a way, she did "break" him.
I have the mental image of Weiss secretly charting things out- "Facial hair- yes" "Warrior's wolf-tail- also yes" "Trauma- no" "Rust- no" "Jackalope- ... we'll get the Schnee research teams on that"
@@Pezantri People forget how much Weiss loves fluffy cute animals. I'm 90% sure Weiss's attraction to Rusted Knight Jaune was at least in part due to the presence of Juniper and she *will* get a replacement.
I can't wait for everyone to get blown away by how suddenly powerful and mature Jaune is now. I don't believe much time has passed, maybe a few weeks at most, so there's gonna be tons of confusion.
I think Weiss giggling is a clear indication that she's moved past the opinion of him being an immature ladies' man trying to win her affections and is genuinely open to reciprocating any feelings she may have developed since seeing him in the big shroom hideout.
He stopped hitting on Weiss and acting like a ladies' man by Volume 2. Everything else after that was just him being himself, especially after the fall of Beacon and all the misery it brought with it.
she is. Both of them recognized each others strength and flaws. Weiss discovered the maturity behind his innocence, while Jaune discovered her caring side behind her self-centeredness.
So... A 20 years old huntsman with about the 30+ years of experience in fighting monsters... Jaune just joined Ash Ketchum in terms of people with impossible resumes that every employers would dream of.
soo ive never really put a whole lot of stock into shipping and really didnt really feal anything one way or another when it comes to whiteknight but this season has made me wanna see it happen. The interactions between jaune and weiss were so...good, felt natural and made me get invested. lol
Eh, Kerry and the other writers said it was ~10-20 years, since they love being vague in terms of time, implying most of his haggered look came from stress. Plus, the dude didn't really spend that time maturing, he's worn down, sure, but Rusted Knight doesn't really show much mental growth from the Atlas arc (hell, he believably digresses in some ways)
In addition to what relic said, Since they decided to be vague about the age placing it between 29 and 39, just say he's a 29 year old in a 20 year old's body. Easy. Problem solved.
Lol, my guy was spooked by his younger voice. My guy Jaune wanted his lady killer voice but he got his navie voice again But he got points for making Weiss laugh so it's not so bad
Ngl, Weiss seeing how "mature" Jaune gets many years from now makes me suspect they'll end up together. Maybe. But it's not just how Jaune looks but also how in the Ever After, Weiss was by far the most compassionate and understanding towards him. Like when she comforted Jaune about the rebuilding of his village, it was one of the most earnest and emphatic things I've ever seen in this show. I don't think that's something Black or Yang could have done, neither of them understand Jaune as well as Weiss does. I feel like this entire season has given her a deeper understanding and appreciation for Jaune. Even Weiss's little laugh at the end here, which granted was somewhat at Jane's expense, was more endearing and less prissy than I'd expect from her. It didn't feel vindictive, simply amused. To be clear, this show hasn't always had _the best_ relationship build-ups and there's nothing guaranteeing Weiss and Jaune will end up together (let alone with anyone). I'm just saying that I see more there than there was before. I also don't think it would be to the detriment of either character if the writers choose to develop it. Weiss accepting Jaune and Jaune moving on from Pyrrha would be proof of immense character growth for both of them. Moreover, that growth feels extremely natural, there are a lot of great character and story opportunities here.
The Weiss/Jaune interactions have been incredible this season! "Mature", the hug, the laugh. Things are happening my dude, _things just might be happening._
I will definitely say, while i AM kinda happy they did this.. I do partially wish Jaune had stayed in his older form.. I wouldve loved to see Nora and Ren's reactions to older Jaune. And the blacksmith mentions "a wish to fix what she had broken" but.. its not HER fault that Jaune ended up that old so it doesnt make alot of sense to me that she would be the reason Jaune got reverted back to babyface.. I wouldve loved to see Older Jaune getting used to being in Remnant in his new form.. Having to actually buy new clothes to fit him.. But.. Eh.
Someone put it in a great way: Alyx broke an already chipped glass, fixing it means not only the break she was responsible for but also the pre-existing chip
I want Jaune to say "I'm to old for this" with a character like Winter looking at him with an "excuse me" face. Then maybe he claps back saying "I am actually older than you." and Weiss just leans over saying "I'll explain it later".
I'm glad Jaune became young again so he can live his life with his friends but I'm not gonna lie, his older look really left an impression on me. It brought a level of seriousness and maturity to the character that I found really interesting. I'll miss his older look and voice but in the end I'm grateful he's back to who he used to be.
So long Chad Arc. We'll miss you. The universe could only handle so much. Interesting white highlights he now has though. Also, that giggle from Weiss. Selling that while yes, she was thirsting for the older version she'll take the cute younger one and enjoy the return investment later.
Hahahaha Juane's reaction to hearing her puberty voice was the best -Spanish- Jaja escuchar la voz chillona de Juane y verlo como en su versión joven de nuevo fue lo mejor de este cap xd.
jaune deserve it, lost the best years of his life, now he is young again but having now decades of training experience a lot more than all rwby and the rest of jnpr, We can finally said jaune has caught up to them in that term
Blacksmith: you sure this is what you want to let the tree make you into. Alyx: Have you seen him? We had enough trouble with the Milfs in Volume 8. We let him back on Remnant like this and he'll be eaten alive!
He does realize he's like 40 years older than all of his friends now, ah well at least Weiss knows what she has to look forward to. Also as a side note it would be next to impossible for jaune to really know what he sounded like
Not necessarily, it's like the boiling frog parable. If you do something quickly you'll notice but if it's a gradual change over time then you'll likely miss it because you were acclimating to it along the way.
I hope that there is still some awkwardness in his fighting since technically while he had years of experience because of this ordeal he technically aged into his bodies prime. So deaging should have an effect on how he fights such as realizing he’s trying to use muscles and movements his body was accustomed to when he was older. But that’s probably not gonna happen.
Alyx did a lot of wrongs during her time in the Ever After. She upended several lives, poisoned the Rusted Knight, and broke her promise to tge Curious Cat. But in death, she did the most terrible thing of all: She brought back _THE HAIR_ 😱😱😱
