I'm so angry that they killed Mariana, she deserved way better and I feel so bad for david, imagine finding out your daughter that you haven't seen in 4 years die just DAYS before meeting the rest of your family
Thing is, the game didnt do a good job emphasizing how horrible her death was. It should have shaken the rest of the game. Javi was basically her dad, and her real dad found out she died shortly before hand. There should be a giant void of pain and anger inside both of them.
If we're being honest, out of the two characters the writer was trying to make you sympathize with (David or Kate), I ended up feeling way more sympathy for David. He went through three years of the apocalypse thinking his two beloved children and wife were dead, never knowing what their true fate was. He was the only one driving his mom to the hospital, so for a long time he was probably alone and had to grit up to survive. No one to joke with, no one to share your sorrows and troubles with, just by himself. Then he finds his family again, only to find out that his daughter died barely days before their reunion, and because of his own men that he was in charge of. David got undeniably fucked up by the events of this game, but I couldn't see him as a villain. Just as a character I wanted to turn back into my family.
i might have sympathized with david a little but some of his lines are all blaming me for stuff and when he fought me in the final episode believing his wife over my claim that i didn't touch his wife that was the last straw so i went with kate to save richmond but i didn't believe things to get fucked like that like gabe dying and this kind of thing
What I like about David is that he is a good person with good intentions, he is against the raid on other settlements, the problem is with his ways of putting his good intentions in action
@@NotRockstarGameshe has Javier's back ? Where did he have Javier's back. He abandoned his own family during the apocalypse and never bother to look for them again but yet had the time to built a community with the New Frontiers when his family waited for him for 3 months, when Javi was about to kick from Richmond David told Javi to play along but when they arrive at the New Frontier supply David want to send off his own brother back to the road, he tries to kill Javi in episode 5 despite not cheating on Kate. That doesn't sound like having "Javi's back" doesn't
@@dimazfantasy5252 Did Luke look for his family? Did Christa try to find hers? Did Ben??? No, because they’re in an apocalypse and in an apocalypse you have to keep moving or you’ll end up dead. Think about what happened to Lee and Ben when Clementine tried to look for her parents.
Literally Mariana was one of those deaths that shouldn't have happened immediately. Tbh I didn't mind this season, but it could've been better that's for sure. But man if it was a different scenario maybe the death would've been understandable, but they just threw it out there.
Old comment, I know. But if I'm being honest, I think it was a good choice. Mariana was that last little bit of innocence of the Garcia family; if she had still been alive, she definitely might have kept David more grounded and he may have never snapped like he does towards the end of Episode 5. But that also would have taken away the conflict between Javier and David as well. Plus it adds to David's pain: like he mentions, he's grieving the same person twice. And it gives David more of a reason to not trust Joan and Clint if his own men caused his daughter's death.
@@TheChildofAuraRebornhonestly his written poorly and bad. Telltale tries to make David being an *older brother* to the main character so people would feel sad and symphatize him but at the same time they make David an angry asshole who likes to rub on Javi everytime and despite the choices you choose of siding with him through out the episode he still has the nerve to call Javi a selfish saying he was always care about himself. Honestly its the brotherly blood relationship between Javi and David is very forced, cringe, drama, and a failure
By putting up these videos you're spoiling it for pretty much everyone apart from the few that got the buggy early leaked version on Xbox. You could say don't click on them but the title is already spoiling it. Thanks a lot
