I'll never understand the hate this film gets. I admit that it will never be as good as the original *JAWS* or even *JAWS 2* but *JAWS: THE REVENGE* is still a good movie on its own. It doesn't deserve the backlash it's been getting. Besides, I love Hoagie's sense of humor in this scene. Jake: "Hey! Hey, wait a minute, man. You sure you know how to do this?" Hoagie: "Of course not! What kind of pilot you think I am?"

If you ever encounter a shark do not try to cut it or anything you’ll just make it mad and then it will be more aggressive and when it starts being more aggressive if you be aggressive that it’ll get even more mad so if you see a shark look at straight in the eye punch it in the nose or of the gill

Why is the shark mainly after Ellen? She did not kill this shark's family. Her husband Martin Brody did. And IT killed one Brody Sean, isn't that enough?

The premise is the shark is supposed to be a descendant of the previous Great Whites that were killed by Ellen’s husband, the first two by Chief Martin Brody, and the third by Michael her eldest son here in the 3rd movie... by some unexplainable supernatural power, this shark somehow knows who and where the Brody family are... and is extracting revenge on all of them. Totally Preposterous plot, but good as a fantasy popcorn-monster movie. Maybe this refers back to the original, as the narrator in the trailer stated: “... The devil was created, and was given JAWS.”

He was paid $1 million for 2 weeks work in the Bahamas and used the money to buy his mum a house! Also he was given the Oscar for best supporting actor for Hannah and His Sisters whilst he was filming... all in all i'd say he'd had a right result there! lol
