You gatta remember he co-made/funded (with Simon Dominic) a VERY successful Korean Hip-Hop label company called AOMG; that has artists like Loco, GRAY, Hoody, Simon Dominic and more. Roc Nation came after all his national success in S.K ;)

Yasmine Exactly, thanks for saying that! Aside from being an Idol himself, Jay owned (2) of his own labels in South Korea, with his own roster of artists, even before Roc Nation came into the picture. It's because of his talent, hard work, "and already being a boss," that got him to being recognized by Roc Nation. They saw the star 🌟 that he already is! I'm American, and I feel that he doesn't need America or Roc Nation, it would just be a plus - adding to his success, but not taking anything from it.

Soju is an acoholic beverage which is colorless and usually based on rice, wheat or barley but modern ones can also be based on for example potatoes or sweet potatoes :) My source was Wikipedia! (I wrote this by memory and can’t be bothered to check again jkdjsj this info is from when i learned what it was a long time ago)

Distilling rice was banned, so Koreans started making soju with alternative starches like wheat, sweet potatoes, and tapioca, Hill tells VinePair. The ban was lifted in the late 1990s, but many of the best selling brands in Korea still use alternative starches. My area only sales Traditional Soju ( Tokki).

Soju is the silent creeper. Especially if you get unregulated Soju. You can add it to anything - coke, ice tea, punch and you will never taste it... but the moment you stand up - the world will be spinning 😂

When Jay got kicked out of the group I thought his career was over - as far as I remember he went back to seattle and was releasing choreo youtube videos. He did this homemade youtube cover of an english song that went viral and from there started his solo career. Soju is SOOOO good. The size of the bottle is the same as a beer bottle, but it's like 20% alcohol depending on the brand. It goes down so smooth as well. It's the only alcohol that doesn't make me sick to drink.

I heard somewhere that Soju is the best selling alcohol in the world, I also heard that it's pretty strong and they drink it with Korean soups, like Jackson tang, so as not to get totally trashed. Yeah I also like how they shot Jays part in Atlanta where 2Chainz is from and they shot 2Chainz part in Korea. Jays freestyle on Sway In the morning is a must see, so good.

Ok, so basically if Japan has soki, Korea has soju!! Soju is very strong and very good!! It has different flavors but mostly in Korea they drink the original kind which is between 19-21% alcohol in a 12.7oz bottle. I think US drink more of the flavored kind which are VERY GOOD(peach, grapefruit, pineapple, grapes,pear etc)!! They don't sell it in many places so I'm hoping this video will help them get it more stores.

the thing he was wearing while he was walking on the street was like a Hanbok or traditional Korean clothing hence having Korea at the back of the robe. but it looks a bit modern closer to jiu jitsu kimono. as for his jacket I dont have an idea as well, lol. thinking the same, it can be designer, we wouldnt know. As an avid consumer of soju, I prefer the original to the flavored ones. The flavored ones you can drink like water but then it'll hit you later. Another good Korean drink that idk if it's popular or not and that's alcoholic is Makgeolli, which is a rice wine. And yes you gotta try Korean food. There's so much to try. I will tell you now though kimchi is an acquired taste. I personally love it though.

You should react to the dance visual video for the korean version of this song cos the visuals are really creative. It's basically filmed like a POV shot of a dude drunk on soju watching everyone dance. Plus I feel like there's more energy to the song itself since he has a bunch of his khiphop friends on it. Matter of fact, you should definitely react to the dance visuals he does for all the korean versions of his songs. Particularly 'All I Wanna Do' cos it's filmed using only like 4 long takes at each location of the video. It's pretty cool.
