They did make millions but when thst dissolved business partner deal ended Jay z did a lot of people dirty I know a lot of people besides dame he did dirty especially in that industry and he should not even come to Brooklyn especially Marcy projects cause he did people dirty in our city too stop being a 🍆 rider cause I know he ain’t give you a dime
Actually artist were already being encouraged to own their masters… from the likes of MJ, Prince, Stevie Wonder…etc!! Before Jay started doing so…. And the first black artist to do so was…. Ray Charles.
🔥 I’m relatively young so I wasn’t around when artist from earlier genres promoted owning their masters. I’m specifically referring to rap artist owning their master. That wasn’t a thing before Hov. 💯
