I've been through several headphones over the past year or so. Sennheiser Momentum Truely Wireless, B&O E8's etc. I bought a pair of the Jabra Elite Active 75t in March, and although they are great headphones with all the features I wanted, they just don't stay in my ears. It was the last straw when one popped out and flew under a parked van! I also tried the Amazon Echo buds which are ok, but no wireless charging or ANC. Then I got the Vista 2's and am very pleased! They have all the features I want (and some) and most importantly they stay in my ears! Highly recommended.

i had bought 75t active and vista original and vista 2. I agreed with you vistas are not well fit into ears especially when i am sweaty. but 75t Active is the best sound quality. i like bass and loudiness. vista2 is not loudy enough for me, even worse than vista original. secondly noise cancelltion and hear through on vista 2 are like a joke and pretty useless. on 75t it is much better. plus this vista has a really hard press button which i really hate. The buttoms had been very hard-push on vista original. still the same on vista 2 too unfortuantelly there is no improvement. I returned my vista 2

Jaybird Vistas are the only earbuds I have confidence will stay in my ears even after miles and miles of sweaty running. I use the larger sized fins so even if the suction drops because sweat has been sitting there for a while, the fin will still comfortably hold them in place.

I lost a Vista 1 bud , and for some reason find my bud didn't work the location was wrong. You can buy singles which is awesome, but I opted for the upgrade and absolutely love the 2's . Incredible sound with a few tweaks, and brilliant for any activity they stay in place. The low profile is great for helmets of any kind too. I prefer to block out all ambient noise especially wind, so the double tap feature is amazing, it just works! Be careful in traffic though, on a bike or scooter or whatever you get around on, you will hear nothing outside, not even a horn 5m away.

The biggest upgrade for me is the wireless charging and ANC, but V1 is already so good that it made all the improvements on the V2 too marginal to justify its price. I don’t mind the wired charging because I keep a USB-C in the car for other devices anyway. And I don’t really need the ANC feature since I run a lot.

Thanks for the thorough review. 👍 I bought the Jaybird X3 back in 2016. They sounded great, but I had to swap them out 3 times due to hardware issues. Great support, but really should not have to do that 3 times. I had since sworn off anything Jaybird. Then I went to the Jabra Elite Active 65T. Perfect in almost every way. As expected, the battery died after 3 years of almost daily use, so here I am again, back to the Jaybird. This time the Vista 2 , which is now on sale for black Friday. So I broke my promise to never return to Jaybird. Hoping that 5 years later it will be a different outcome. 🤞

Thanks for the very informative review! I was going to ask about the mic quality but I see that you've already answered question about that. I watched/listened to this video using Jaybird Vista 1 ear buds that I learned about from watching this channel. I got them for $100, when Jaybird had a flash sale on Instagram about 6 or 7 months ago. Good deal, so even though the Vista 2's do have some nice improvements over the 1's I'll be sticking with the 1's because the upgrades aren't worth $100, not to me anyway.

Awesome review! I'm one that tends to lose a single earbud so that's why I've been using the Tarah Pros for a couple years now. Since they're tethered, they're a bit harder to lose. Now that the Vista 2s have the earbud locator, I'm seeing an upgrade in my near future!

AirPods Pro were a game changer for me. I tried a few brands and could never get a comfortable fit (with wing tips) offered by some of the other big brands. I settled on primarily using cheap wireless ear-hook headphones for years until the AirPods Pro were released. Somehow - with only a moldable ear tip - they have created an ear bud that securely stays in my ear and won’t fall out, despite sweat or movement. Along with that, you get apples integration with your iPhone and the ANC is actually pretty good (although I use transparency mode when running outdoors). Maybe a future review to look into? Or just try then out for yourself if you haven’t (I believe they are the same price as the Jaybirds).

Earbuds are such a personal preference because everyone's got different ears and a different preference on sound. Personally Jaybird nails it for me. They feel like they were molded to my ear. I got the Vista 2s last week as part of Black Friday sale for $129.99. Based on expert reviews, the ANC feature is decent but not the best and I concur. I was surprised my fav EQ customized setting on the Vista 1 did not work with Vista 2 so I had to create a new one. I'm disappointed that whenever you switch to the SoundSense feature, the music turns flat like all treble and cans clanging. I thought of getting the Sony WF-1000XM4s and returning the Vista 2s but I decided to keep them because of the $70 discount I got. I will eventually get the XM4s in the near future, the latest firmware update was 1.1.7. I agree that after you play around with the EQ settings, the Vistas sound great.

Great review as always. How is the mic quality? Taking phone calls on Bluetooth earbuds seems to be less important than audio quality, features, etc... But it's also annoying to try and take a call while I'm running and the call quality is so bad that I have to dig my phone out. Totally agree...physical buttons on running earbuds are the way to go. Great review! The first version were excellent and I found them way better than the Sony WF-1000XM3 as they stuck out too much and would slowly come out the ear. Do you have any issues pairing the buds to your Garmin Fenix? There's a bug on the Garmin that disconnects the headphones randomly, I've heard the Vista 2s also suffer as well. Wind noise can get pretty bad when using ANC or transparency modes. Fortunately disabling ANC is as easy as tapping the buds. The Vista 2's have really good passive noice cancellation thanks to a good seal in the ear canal so they'll still block out a lot of sound. However, you won't hear oncoming vehicles or cars beeping which could lead to safety concerns. Thanks for watching!

Any tips for a better fit? I have the original Jaybird Vistas and while they fit well initially, as I begin to run they slightly fall out and I lose that incredible bass.

I had a jaybird vista 1 for a week but I returned it. I used them while running in combination with the Garmin Fenix 6x. After a few km, the headphones disconnected from the watch and it was impossible to pair them again. After the end of the run, only after putting them in the box, they were able to pair again. The problem was every time I was running. I am curious if the same problem will occur with jaybird vista 2.

I've heard this a lot. Unfortunately it seems to be an issue with the vista 2's as well though I haven't experienced it myself. I've heard from others. Seems like a luck of the draw kind of thing?

I've only briefly tested the AirPods Pro's and I think they sound fantastic. I'd probably give the slight edge to the Airpods pro's. However for running I much prefer the Vista 2's because of the fit and design.

Not sure why an iphone update would have an effect on the earbuds. You don't need the Jaybird app installed to use these earbuds just drop into your Bluetooth settings and delete/add them again. Maybe that will help?

Going through reviews and posting the fact that I got these two weeks ago, exhanged and had to return them again. People need to know if you will be making calls outside, running, work outside like myself, DO NOT BUY! the wind noise and the fact that you sound far away for the other person on the phone is unacceptable for $300 (Canadian).

Definitely don't abandon your Vista 1, there's nothing in Vista 2 that's worth the extra price you're going to pay for it. Keep your vista 1 if you have one, if you choose to buy a new earbud choose Vista 1, never Vista 2, Vista 2's ANC is mere advertisement, not worth the price you will pay for it!

Stay away, faulty and cheap manufacturing, right off the case brand new buds, the right bud wasn't charging nor connecting. Left ear buds was losing battery the moment you take it out, drops to 95% and in 2 min to 90%.
