I love my X2s and was upset the X3s took awhile to come out after it was announced. With so the great info with the Freedom's not so great reviews, my desire for the this released were with waiting. Can you make a Jaybird x2 or 3 VS ADVsound model 3 video? Im curious wich one you prefer in matter of Sound Quality...? Ive been using Jaybirds a month or 2 but they can be shrilling once a while, now ive orderd ADVsound model 3, but im doubting of this would be better?
Are they the same withd as the X2? Because I have small ears, and the X2 were too wide to get into the ear canal and the fins couldn't be put on properly behind the little "bump" on the headphones
Still using the original Blue Bud x and recently started wearing them over ear with the clips to shorten the cable and it makes a HUGE difference , they stay in my ear better so it sound better, and it makes them feel smaller so i feel comfortable wearing them just about any where, as in before it felt like they were bulky and ugly. Im really interested weather or not an upgrade is necessary for sound quality because these still sound amazing.
does anyone have a durability problem with the X3 ,I'm thinking of buying a pair but I'm not that sure because of durability problems i see on amazon ,plz help
what's the difference if you use the EQ settings on your phone (music player app) vs. the jaybird app? I have the x2 and I feel the eq settings from my phone do the job
SlapNDash my biggest problem with these is that if you have them behind your head and are doing a workout, ( over the head workout) your shoulder will pinch the control module between your skin and will completely cut the connection to your phone. pisses me off so much. other than that they're pretty good.

Do you think the x3s will stay in the ears better than the freedoms? I loved the sound of the jaybirds, but there was nothing I could do to keep them from falling out during a run including clipping them to the back of a ballcap. On the other hand, I've run several hundred miles with the soundsport wirelss and they've never fallen out on their own.

Given the adjustments you can make with the sound app, would you say these good for bass heads that like head rattling bass? I listen to metal. Great review btw.
Jaybird updated the freedoms to the new cjrved ear fins and new stickier comply tips. It fixes your biggest issue with them. It still sounds very base heavy and there is a faint static sound at low volumes that is quite noticeable.

Do these fall of your ear easily ? I need headphones I can rely on for boxing workouts, there's a lot of head movement and pivoting so I need something stable
I like the freedoms for the size....but I've gone through 3 pairs because of my supposed acid sweat. sweat proof claim certainly didn't work for me on the freedoms. the x2s didn't sit in my ears well

what about the dead of the x3 by not charging after 1 year more or less?
Guys, I've been reading about the x2's and x3's and there's many people that complains about Jaybird! They said they are not sweatproof!!!!!! Is that true? Can somebody give a feedback about it? Thanks!
Kevin Elkington I've used the x2s under a motorcycle helmet and because they stick out quite a bit it wasn't comfortable. I know the x3s are smaller but I feel like the freedoms are your best bet
Guys do these offer great sound quality for someone who is looking to go wireless but dont want the big bulky headphones. Or is the main feature being able to exercise with it staying in and being waterproof.
You mentioned Jaybird covers sweat issues for an year, which is odd, sense the X2 have a lifetime warranty on sweat issues. Their website mentioned "Any damage created due to perspiration or moisture under normal wear and tear during activity is covered for the lifetime of the headset." So... The X3 have a worst warranty? lol
Appreciate the review but what you mentioned about the warranty isn't exactly correct. There is a one year warranty on the device's build, but a separate lifetime warranty if the device has an issue caused by sweat. Taken directly from JayBird's website: "Your Lifetime Warranty Against Sweat covers you for the expected life of your product. The expected life of a typical lithium-ion rechargeable battery is 2-3 years. Of course, the full 1 year Limited Warranty also applies for any malfunction or defect in any product." I do find the clause defining the lifetime of the product interesting as I don't recall that distinction mentioned with the other two versions. I certainly wish they'd get a waterproof rating then as I already had to send in my X1s because of sweat... Unsettling to know now that my earbuds may not be covered by the warranty. Obvious that they've had to replace too many units.
This shit stay in my ear very PERFECT. Wings are very comfortable. Please watch tutorials for wearing these because this required patience to find perfect fit.
these come out about a week after I got the x2 of course lol. didn't expect the price, really want the 3s because of the app support and simultaneous connecting.
I bought the X3 and the Bose Soundsport. The X3 earbuds are incredibly uncomfortable and constantly fall out, regardless of which accessories/sizes I use. And the sound is inferior to Bose.
CJ Ortega You should probably start working out man! Why would you not workout?! That's really strange. When you're naked do you look good or do you sit back in disgust? I'm in pretty good shape but if i miss the gym for a week or two I look at myself in the mirror in disgust that I don't look like a sexy specimen anymore. I don't know if you're married or single but you could get laid by super sexy chicks if you looked good and took care of yourself. I love sexy girls so that's really important to me. I can't imagine being with or having sex with a fat or ugly chick! That's one of the reasons I workout is to f*ck hotties! Plus it makes you feel amazing mentally and physically when you workout on a consistent basis. And if you workout on a consistent basis you won't age as fast either. So, basically working out has so many positives aspects to it. Give it a go bro!

Wish i got these when they $99 on bestbuy, but I really hating the way you had to charge them, plus i still have my x2's alive and well for over a year, and a beat up bluebuds X that still works XD

No aptx . Heavy controller. again they don't stay on ears. again no soft wings again stupid way to charge them like freedoms and again over bright sound with bass. there is no flat sound on these .
Am still on x1 not sure this will be worth the upgrade. Every bluetooth earbuds lacks bass. I'm inclined to samsung iconic x true wireless earbuds but the battery life is only an hourn half!
Adam Molina with advancement in battery technology like sodium ion it will be possible then to have like 10+ hour juice. I will hang on to my jaybird x1 and go truely wireless like samsung iconic x with at least 5+ hour juice. Can you review those mate?
You haven't heard the Bose Soundsport then. These bad boys have lots of bass, and it sounds glorious too. I bought the X2's, Skullcandy XTFrees, and returned both of them when I finally was satisfied with the comfort and sound of the Soundsport. :P
Just make sure the charging port is free of debris. Jaybird had an issue with debris clogging up the charging port. Thats why the x3 have a charging cradle.
So you are reviewing a headset that you primarily connect to the phone and you didn't even mention the microphone quality? You should have recorded you speaking in a noisy environment and see how they fair. Big miss in this review!
If you are planning to buy this product, please don't. This product is beyond horrible. Connection issue is terrible. This is the worst product i ever had. Please don't be a fool buying this product because of the great reviews online.
Flex M I totally disagree. Please support us claim when u shit about the product. I found the to be very comfortable. Sound quality is very good because of the customizable equalizer.
