One thing I honestly don't get with Playstation fanboys, they say "this game looks like a PS3 or Xbox 360 graphics" like boy if I showed this to 10 year old me he would've been amazed how these games will look in the future.
Well it doesn't mean that every 1st person game is cheap, but it is true that it saves money on doing animations for 3rd person and it makes gameplay less complex in general usually
@@lepersonnage371 Even though that's not really true; On the contrary, first person is harder to animate because then you need to take into account stuff like the FOV and the speed at which the camera rotates. (Be it via the game itself or via the player's own inputs.)
@@3DJourney84 sure, but making higher resolution textures doesn't take more money (any money at all actually) than to make good expensive animations for a game
Jaytech worrying about the shirt textures and Indy's hand being "next gen" is hilarious. We're already 4 years into this gen. Stop calling it "next gen" you goobers
He's probably never played in Uncharted game just like the rest of us. Like honestly think to yourself do you even know a single person who has ever played an Uncharted game? because I don't.
At 14:20, where he's wondering wtf they're eating, "that's not McDonald's!". That's Max, a swedish fast food chain. And believe me, they're 10 times better than McDonald's😂 I mean... a Swedish company, full of swedes, eating at Swedish fast food restaurants. Mind blown!🤣
22:19-22:11. In fact, in the Last Crusade, said female sidekick/love interest turned out to be a German spy and therefore the main antagonist. (You even got a full scene in Germany; Not even a couple of shots, but a full scene complete with parade in the background.) However, she actively did her best to protect Indiana Jones because she genuinely loved him and therefore it made the ending all the more tragic; I know this because I watched Last Crusade like last year and it was a blast despite being 40+ years late to the party.
She probably had the most chemistry with indy of all the ladies of the movies. She was also a historian and academic but she wasn't afraid to get down and dirty to explore ruins.
People call a lot of PS games "movie games," not just because of the cut-scenes, but because for a long while they basically played themselves & were extremely linear. High end visuals, great production values, but very straightforward gameplay, QTE's, heavy story & dialogue, not very challenging, and not a lot of player agency. Basically a 3rd person, on-rails experience that looked good & told a cool story, but wasn't particularly deep or ambitious. And if they didn't offer multiplayer modes or some other component, not made with replayability in mind. Either that, or you get the Horizon experience where it feels like Sony's version of a Ubisoft game. Not trying to knock those who like these types of games, I just can't stand the over saturated map clutter or "points of interest," with a million markers & quests piling up telling me where to go. Not a "movie game" to me, but still a very frustrating & tedious game.
I love god of war and ghost of Tsushima, but some people act like they are the humanity’s frikkin magnum opus. I mean, like videogamedunkey once said, you played one of those, you played them all. They are good, even awesome games, but nothing special or deep about them and you can get burned out from them
@falconer-ts8fq I haven't played Ghosts of Tsushima, though I suspect I'd enjoy the game. The setting & athesetic looks right up my alley. I hope it gets a PC port at some point
Yep this is true , nothing wrong with really great visuals and an actually good and interesting story but it should be balanced well with the gameplay as well , thats way i always prefer more actual gameplay , with interesting and fun mechanics , difficulty etc. I want it to actually fell and be a VG as well .
The amount of extreme cope every time JayTech does anything video game related is always funny but at the same time it's exhausting. This loser will say any game looks bad if it's not on a playstation console, he'd probably try to argue his PS5 looks better then the PC I built with a 4090, and that his SSD is faster then the top of the line M.2 drive and other top of the line SSD's in my rig. He can't hold L's but he sure does love collecting them. I'd also like to add that uncharted 4 came out in 2016 and it did not age well, most "realistic" games that came out around that time did not age very well.
@@ayajade6683wouldn't surprise me at this point if it did, cause Naughty Dog... It also isn't even the latest Uncharted game, they had a 5th game as I recall?
@@dragonbornexpress5650 didn't know that as I have no desire to play uncharted 4 again as it's my least favorite in the series. It was just old enough a remaster was possible
So from what I have gathered from JayTechTV is that he wanted Indiana Jones to be in 3rd person so he can use it in his console wars agenda and call it a uncharted clone, but now that he does not get his way and its exclusive to xbox, he just going to shit on it back he doesn't like anything xbox and still thinks that xbox has no games when xbox has a library of games on gamepass
Console peasants comparing graphical fidelity- lol, lmao even Nah fr though this game looks amazing, I like the mainly first person decision too, helps make it stand out. Absolutely praying that its a banger
So making 3rd person games now cost more money... Dafuq..... these peoples clownin i swear, the perspective of your player character has no baring on the cost of a video game, games that let you switch from 1st to 3rd are perfect examples of that, the animations play out the exact same (RDR2 being a great example, good gameplay choice Klutz :D) I swear fanboys really have no clue what video games even are.
hm you need to ask CD Projekt Red about this. Cyberpunk was supposed to have 3rd Person view. And they later scrapped it. There is video about Cyberpunk where someone glitched out view to have TPP and it looks .. well atrocious to say the least. You can see the spasms of V's model even on shadows especially in early versions.
Some games have that setup, but is it a negative if a game only has one of them? Like, did anyone complain that Witcher 3, Tomb Raider or Uncharted didn't have a first person mode?
It's easier to animate in 3rd person. 1st person animation isn't intuitive like 3rd person. Animating motion in 1st person requires a lot of things to be taken into consideration like fov, rotation speed of camera, etc. Indiana Jones action sequences in 1st person are really well done. Many 1st person games stick to shooting mechanics because it's easier. Melee in 1st person is not the easiest to pull off. Wolfenstein melee was really well done.
Proof that ponies don’t care about playing video games, they just want graphical showcases. They want the same Ubisoft type beat: “cinematic” open world checklist game in 3rd person with crafting and stealth elements and woke agendas. I had more fun playing miniclip than horizon zero dawn. Also, the hypocrisy is through the roof. They pissed on pc and Xbox gamers for not having Spiderman, god of war and ghost of Tsushima, but the second pc or Xbox gets an exclusive, they start crying and pounding that it’s not fair
Did Mr. Unsolicited Dick Pics, JayTech, criticize Rise of the Ronin this bad? That game really does look like a ps4 launch title that was a weak remaster of a ps3 end of cycle title. While the game does look fun, it looks like the dollar store version of Ghost of Tsushima. 😂
This is kinda unrelated to this video and the salt, but I absolutely love how MachineGames got their hands on the Wolfenstein franchise and had the amazing idea to become the greatest producer of "games where you fuck up Nazis".
let me explain "Max" burger is the best option for burger and fries in europe. you get none of that slop at mcdonalds and burger king! they cook the food once you have made your purchase!
He's complaining that the Indiana Jones game is ripping off Uncharted... even though Raiders of the Lost Arc come out years before Naughty Dog was even a video game studio and indirectly inspired Uncharted by Naughty Dog taking inspiration from Tomb Raider which was inspired by Indiana Jones in the first place *face slams into desk so hard it leaves a dent in the desk*
We already did this song and dance when horizon forbidden west was announce. They couldn't stop talking about Aloy and her peach fuzz whiskers. How did that game turn out ? Not well at all.
The game looks really good in my option and something I loved in the trailer was when the punches got syniched up with the music like its a simple thing but its a nice touch I think.
If Indiana Jones is worse than Uncharted 4, which imo is the worst Uncharted Game due to being terribly miserable for an Uncharted Game, then Indiana Jones development team have some serious issues behind the scenes.
That is young Indiana, so his hand being smooth like jaytechtv's brain is a stylistic choice. Muh graphics. Hey Jaytechtv why play on Playstation all those years if graphics are so important to you. Playstation games also looked artificially better than other consoles.because they used upscaling and checkerboard rendering and cutscenes. 😂
"So many cut scenes," in an announcement trailer...duh it's a trailer I'd be pissed (or a Pony) if a full game had a ton of cut scenes this is just the trailer the very first trailer at that wtf is this guy talking about
ah yes uncharted 4 the game came out 8 years ago is going to destroy indiana jones the fact that jaytech is zooming to see how graphically impressive indiana jones is even though he wouoldn't tell when actually playing the game is pathetic.
When I play video games, I look at the overall clothes that the characters are wearing to judge if the characters clothing is really good, alright, or just okay. I don't care how good the graphics looks on a character cufflinks. This is just hating on the game at this point, and why does this game havtwo differene to go against after uncharted 4 when the 2 games are nothing alike
This pony is ridiculous and he had the nerves to say it's woke but playstation has maybe the most woke game ever spiderman 2. It's amazing the lengths they go to try to make xbox look bad. Zoom end like that's how we're going to play the game.
I just saw the trailer and it looks very good, but for modern audiencies and todd howard and lucas films, and no one can deny how disney is right now, but saying uncharted 4 will destroy indiana when uncharted released years ago does not go well, i just wait to see how it is when it comes out and then i decide if it is really worth buying, but the game looks awesome that's for sure
its Machine games ofcourse its 1st person, if Telltales was making a indiana jones games, what kind of game would you expect????certainly not a uncharted clone, we all know it would be like there other games a point and click story adventure LMAO
I'm sure its probably unconstitutional maybe, but there should be some kind of license and registration for being this amount of stupid that Jaytech is.
Offtopic but I came back here for news: First, Logically Answered posted "Why NOBODY (literally?) play mobile games ANYMORE(?)", and now he posted "why NOBODY is using PC anymore(?)"? Bro, his video like this ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mR_9kH38ORA.htmlsi=_Ymfo1cc6ug2Lb9i ) is so ricidulous that he stated nobody's using PC
I know JayTechTV is as usual just telling nonsense. Third Person camera was already on Indiana Jones games in past, so in that sense it should have at least option of TPP. It's quite bummer that it's forced FPP, I feel like industry actually forgot why games actually had TPP and why forced FPP was ditched in most genres decades ago. As for valid criticism, I do recall someone asking what is the point of having Indiana Jones game with full blown Harrison Ford looks and then you see him just in cutscenes. It makes quite mute point of movie adaptation. That point might be weird but it's still true. If selling point is Indiana Jones then why make us unable to see him for majority of game.
1: To be fair, MachineGames are specialized in first person; It makes sense they would want to focus more on those aspects while still doing a cinematic flair. 2: Not just cutscenes, but also bits of environmental traversal such as ziplining or climbing; It makes sense given how little experience the devs have in third person games. (Also, it's not actually Harrison Ford; Troy Baker takes up the role.)
@@dragonbornexpress5650 Well to MachineGames it might be fair to do FPP but .. why do they even want to make movie adaptation that skips showing known characters in action. Oh I mean Ford looks are based, since we will hear voice actor in FPP but we don't see model of protagonist in it. Overall just quite bummer it's forced FPP, I can't stand it in game. It quite reminds me of issues with Chronicles of Riddick games. And while I did force myself to finish Escape from Butcher Bay, it will be an exception to the rule that I can't play in FPP comfortably.
@@cracmar03 Chances are they were ordered to make this game, so they compensated for their lack of experience in third person by instead focusing on their first person strengths. That aside, understandable.
As someone who grew up playing uncharted Indy looks pretty good I’m 23 so I could care less about Indiana jones but I’m just glad Xbox making some pretty good moves just need a new gears of war game and new fable to drop and then hopefully these clowns will stop comparing everything lmfaoo
There's a good reason for that: A lot of the staff at MachineGames used to work for Starbreeze; Safe to say their Riddick experience is bleeding through. (Which is NOT a bad thing; Easily one of Starbreeze's best games from what I've heard.)
Dude I'm a PlayStation fan and I wanna buy this game lol. This game looks great. People really need to open their horizons and see the potential for other consoles and games. This dude is delusional. People who compare consoles and think one is great than another is foolish. We should really be excited for other consoles and studios for making a good game. I hate the whole console war garbage. I don't like getting into conversations with people about consoles because they'll act like this. It's ridiculous.
No jay tech never played a ps3 he joined during the ps4 era I played I. The ps1 ps2 ps3 as a c guy I did grow up consoles but I do use my ps4 Xbox series x and switch time to time
"Who is that lady on the screen? is that barbie?" That is so disrespectful calling someone names that is talking about their game that is being made. JAyTechTV is so annoying and incompetent
Normally the graphics is code for i don't want to admit the game looks cool so i will say the graphics look bad but good graphics can be deceiving since anthem looked great but sucked ass to actually play
Let's not forget the Uncharted 4 E3 goof JayTech. And it's not like Sony Ponies shifted the goal post, per game release. Also, if all you can fall back on is Uncharted 4, you need to 1 play something other than Playstation (I know he bought a Series X), and 2 why are you acting like Uncharted 4 is coming out this year? It's been out for just about 10, Lost Legacy is a thing too. Also Also, it's so funny seeing people side with the clone of a character, because said character is owned by the company that makes his favorite box. "Why deos this look so generic", Dude raider not goof enough for you lol.
