I bought the charge 5 and it sounds great, plays plenty loud for outside, and it works great with my flip 5 on party boost !

The Charge 5 now has an equalizer through the JBL app. Now you can turn that bass up even more!

We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ru-vid.comUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Good afternoon! The charger informed in the manual must have an output of 5V 3A, but it does not indicate the W. How many Watts should the charger have?

You are great at this 👏 easy to watch looking to mount something on a new golf cart those sound bars would be to much of everything camping lol way to LOUD but this would be plenty wish there was a way to mount it to a square tube without using a velcro strap ?

I have a Charge 5 I find the biggest takeaway is lack of the aux port meaning I cant wire it to my phone or other device for playing games since using Bluetooth without at least aptx built in the latency is way to high however I know usb audio is possible on the device and with the ability to push firmware updates I know my chance is next to 0% but I just hope someone at JBL sees one of my comments and adds a Toggle in there app for audio over usb!

If I buy two of these will pairing them together work because two weeks ago I bought two JBL charge 4 but had to return them because they had trouble holding the connection once paired with each other The music would skip and stutter and the speakers would lose connection and on the JBL app a lot of ppl were saying this was also happening to them

So basically, this speaker like the previous one which I have is orientated to EDM. Let me tell you, if it is noise you want, then this is for you! The sound quality can be improved by using an EQ. That is how I improved the sound on my Extreme 5 after a week of suffering. I did not take it back to the the store cos I really wanted volume, but the higher I went, the worse it sounded. The upgrade will be no different, if you want sound quality. I own a Marshall Stanmore first edition and it kicks these JBL noise tubes out of the park when it comes to listening to quality sound. Curiously, why do all the reviews only play EDM and not reggae, Hip Hop or sub genres of urban music or even Salsa ( Combo, Son, Bachata, Merengue and bass orientated music with Reverb like what you get in Dub music) ? Because bass cannot be handled by speakers like these, that’s why. I have done my own testing with my JBL Xtreme 5 speaker. So if it’s electronic dance music, rock, pop and Indie or even country & western music you’re after, JBL have you covered. I looked forward to watching your video review, but JBL let us down with this new speaker... Just my purist take on it.

I will only buy a Charge 5 if I can find someone who wants to buy my old Charge 4.

You failed to talk about battery life, this thing does not live up to the 20h battery life it claims. Playing at full volume will give you 4hrs tops Best I’ve gotten is around 12h on 60% volume, to be honest a little bit dissapointing.

Sound like shit playing on my cellphone speaker. Must be a bad product...
