Jean without PF isn't amoung marvels cosmic beings either, she can't even contend with Skyfathers while Thanos has. She would not be able to beat Thanos without PF. With IG thanos had beaten the abstracts in their truest forms which are multiversal. We don't know who would win if Jean with PF were to fight Thanos with IG. So no one who says thanos wins is delusional as he has feats to back it up.

@@jbabylucus1641 Phoenix has the mkraan crystal which is multiversal in power. The infinity stones only work in one universe and is useles in another, so it's only universal in power. This video is lacking a lot of info on the Phoenix Force.

I've been buying all of the Jean Grey/X-Men comics and memorabilia that I can find. I lost my collection in a house fire when I was 12, I had every issue that featured Jean and the Phoenix Force.

The problem with the movie was that it did have some good scenes, like Charles dying and Eric showing his love for his friend that died. But it just made the pheonix so weak. It's literally unbeatable, unkillable, unerasable. It has infinite power, and can do anything and everything. And yet Wolverine kicked her ass, easily, overpowering her and killed her. To put it on scale, if wolverine so much as THOUGHT to harm her, she would have wipe him from existance and 'Wolverine' would never even have been a concept across the entire multiverse, in the past, present, and future. The movie, and this new movie, will never be able to show a great enough scale to match the Pheonix's full power. There's a reason why in the comics and cartoons it's a very long arc, and not just a short hour and a half long movie.

@@Jirodyne he didn't overpower her. You must not have paid any attention to the scene. She let him keep getting closer to see what he would do. When he finally reached her she asks "you would die for them?" Meaning humans. He says "not for them, for you" and that is enough to let Jean gain enough control over it and she says "help me" and he stabs her, ending Jean and the host for the force. So no it was nothing at all to do with wolverine overpowering her and "kicking her ass" it was her love for him(secret as it may have been) allowing her enough control to prevent the force from completely destroying him and restraining enough to allow him to end her life without the force stopping it from happening. I think you just saw wolverine walking towards her and then stabbing her and didn't take in anything else choosing to just be mad about what you saw without taking in the context or anything that was being said and paying attention to facial expressions and tone of voice. Do me a favor and watch the entire scene again paying attention to every detail, I know you'll see it in a completely different light.

Oh I know him walking up to her with her mostly letting him do it, cause she had the power to actually stop him. But I ask you to watch it again, while remembering what the Pheonix's powers are. The very fact that he can kill Jean at all, shows he overpowers the pheonix. Because the Pheonix can't die, even if the host dies, it can just bring the host back to life, it can deny death and not let the wound be mortal, and so on. But it ends there. When Jean dies, so does the Pheonix. Because the movie has the 'Pheonix', just be another personality of Jean that was sealed away by Professor X. It wasn't a cosmic being, it wasn't a secondary being, it wasn't another person. It was Jean, without her memories and powers surpressed. So basically, it was just Jean with a different powerset, it had nothing to do with the pheonix, and the only connection is the name, and some powers/abilities. Which again, pissed off a lot of people. Cause in every other version, the Pheonix was a cosmic being, even the Cartoons dealt with Aliens and being from outter space. But the movies, they cash grabbed on the idea, while fucking it up 100% of the way.

@@Jirodyne it was a really hard decision for wolverine to make. He love her. The next wolverine movie had her in his dreams. So the Phoenix did not die.

It wasn't, they rushed the movie instead of building it up like Thanos & the other Avengers were built up they should've done Phoenix then Dark Phoenix while hinting the Phoenix force in the other X-Men movies.

Is not jean is the Phoenix Power sometimes jean has shown to be powerful when being able to control the Phoenix But all the destructions that has happen was bc of the Phoenix power Jean hates destroying n killing the people she loves😢

The Phoenix Force is a sentient being of creation and destruction (and resurrection).

The Phoenix would lose against TOAA as well. It all depends on the host. If the host can control the power and use full power that host would become unstoppable. But of the host is weak and can't control the powers then it has good chance getting defeated by TOAA Living Tribunal Franklin Molecule man and many people thats part one above all. Rachael one of the strongest host was able defeat Beyonder in secret wars by using full power of Phoenix but Beyonder only told Rachael that she holding back the true power of Phoenix. Well Thane the weakest host who couldn't control or didn't know how to use Phoenix power has greater chance of losing.
