@@wandaboria2591 Miss Carolina in the Miss Amurica Pagent. She was a star & winner on any stage. The world was blessed, whether talking about a baton or a elephant snap, talking about Left Brain & Beaver, Jeanne made us laugh no matter what is going on in your life or the world.
This woman has so many awesome stories but I do think that this one is far and away my favorite. It still breaks my heart that she’s gone and I greatly miss her.
This woman was awesome and thank the lord for YOU TUBE to be able to share anything including having the full knowledge of INDIAN SCAMMERS!😅😊 The scammers are sooooo stupid they have no history at all on ANY OF THE PEOPLE unless the super stupid hand it over!
Yes, I for one, will forever miss Jeanne Robertson. I look greatly forward to meeting her one day in Heaven and personally thanking her for the dozens, nay! HUNDREDS of laughs she gave me throughout my life.
I'm from the South. 70 yrs old and her life stories resonate with me to the tee. I am late in discovering Jeanne but I am so grateful that I have, there are so many of my own memories in her stories that I not only laugh out loud but they emotionally bring me back home again. And yes , I pronounce certain words Southern just like her. People have mocked me all my life up here in Pa over my way of saying. " wash, cement, window, but I love my way of pronouncing them , it's a part of who I am. In this time in our lives, we need Jeanne more than ever
I lived in Pompano Beach FL once. First time ever out of my little TN town. The payroll officer at my job was merciless in his quest to get me to say things he could laugh at. I had a real Southern drawl and he was a Northerner. I decided that I would always make him laugh so I would exaggerate my drawl just for him. I know what you mean.
Jeanne came up in my RU-vid feed about a week ago and I have watched numerous videos since then. Had no idea who she was and after doing research discovered that she passed away last year. What a sad loss. So thankful that her stories and legacy lives on providing laughter and smiles to all who hear her. She’s a gift that keeps on giving even though she’s passed.
I’m in love with her stories. She was added to my RU-vid feed last night and I just couldn’t get enough of her humor. My husband asked what I was laughing at so hard because I was shaking the bed as he was trying to go to sleep 💕💕 God bless her! Heaven is loving her presence ❤😂
When I was in the 3rd grade, someone decided that we needed to learn to twirl a baton. Now, we were poor. It was soon after WW2 ended and we didn’t have money for me to have a baton, but I wanted to learn to twirl. My mother, the most inventive person I’ve ever met, decided to make a baton for me. So when lessons began, i was ready. She had made me a baton out of a part of an old mop that Daddy had cut for her. On one end there was an apple and on the other was a piece of carrot. The other kids may have made fun of me, but if they did I don’t remember it and I smiled with my baton and I learned to twirl right along with all of the other girls. I smile and I remember this when I hear Jeanne tell this story!
What kind of idiots are out there watching this that would possibly give her a thumbs down? Lord, Lord, why? This women is one of the few comedians who can hold my interest, and can tell stories without one dirty, off color joke
This is one of my favorite stories. I had the privilege of seeing her tell it live and have a "baton" card" posted on the board behind my computer. Jeanne is one more classy, funny lady!
How sad Jeanne has passed. This amazing woman could tell a story like nobody else. Her sense of humor was hysterical and sweet. This video is the funniest one I have seen...it's like she was taking you on a trip from one burst of giggles to the next. Just awesome. 👍
This baton story is still so funny to hear and watch Jeanne’s actions! I’m wiping tears, again, from the laughter she brought to my heart! Thank you, Jeanne! God and those gone before us are all having a great time with you and the stories you share!
I just read of Jeanne's passing away today, as well as of her beloved husband, Left Brain, passing away a few months ago. The world is now a sadder place... My sincerest condolences to their son, Beaver, and his family. May God Bless them all... 🙏🙏
Recently a lady that posted cooking shows on You Tube passed away, and her husband passed away a little before she did, it was such a shock, just like the passing of Jeanne and Jerry, somehow it seems like they should live forever, and they will live forever in our memories.
This is wonderful! I was one of those beauty contest participants in a small town and I was also a twirler, so this routine is especially meaningful to me.
Jeanne Robertson was one of the best storytellers of our time! You are riveted while she is speaking, and you laugh yourself silly. And every story has a deeper meaning- and she always delivers it so well. There will never be another Jeanne Robertson!
My husband tells me I am not allowed to watch your videos at night anymore. You see for 3 nights now I have snuck out of our bedroom and into the computer room to watch and on all three nights my husband has come running out of my bedroom buck naked because he thinks I am having a seizure. Thank you for the giggles.
I watched them while my husband watched tv. I watched on my iPad. My husband and son were not happy with my constant laughing and interrupting their tv. I had headphones on and couldn’t hear them. I forgot all about them as I was having to much fun.
I was listening to her at work the other night and had to stop. I was not gonna be able to hold back. I was laughing way to hard to even be able to continue working. I had to wait till I got home, and sat in my car to finish watching so I would not wake up my family. She is hilarious.
My daughter and I have been depressed over a family situation. We found you on you tube. We are no longer depressed. Now when we start feeling the stress we watch you and it's hard to be depressed and laugh till it hurts at the same time!! Thank you!
I'm depressed with all the political stuff going on these days...so I regularly tune in to one of Jeanne Robertson's episodes.... always funny! She's a breath of fresh air! Thank you, Jeanne!
I found this the first time a year ago. Rewatching, still so funny. What a beautiful, classy, great woman Jeanne was. Thank u for the chance to see this & laugh again.
As a “retired “ majorette from 1963, my junior year in high school in Frankfurt American High School in Frankfurt, Germany, I found that routine , Ms. Jeannie hysterical! Hardly had I arrived and my mother registered me at school, the band teacher learned (thanks Mom!) that I had twirled a baton since junior high so I was immediately promoted to head majorette to lead the band during Oktoberfest and other holidays in Frankfurt and other small German towns. It was an honor until I realized there were only two other majorettes. We had a wonderful time that year but you just made me have such a hilarious , warm memory so thank you so much! P.s. I just turned 75 and can still twirl a baton....a bit slower and with sounds like “oh, ow, oo,” but still able!
What a wonderful storyteller! She does it so well that I can "see" it happening. Whenever I think that I have watched her funniest story, I find another one.
How can one person be SO funny?!? My side was splitting laughing so hard from this story!! Thank you Jeanne- you are such a blessing from God to bring joy and merriment to Christians and all people!
Watching this video, I experienced a first ever in my life. I was enjoying a cup o' Joe when a burst of laughter caught me by surprise. Coffee spewed out and landed on my laptop. I'm thankful I have a keyboard protector. Seeing that kind of reaction on tv, I always thought it was overboard. But it really can happen!
When I lived in VA my neighbor June became a good friend. Her accent reminds me so much of the gentle neighbor who I wanted to emulate. June once said to me with her twang, Barb you need to be sure your brain is in gear before you open your mouth. I miss her so much. At a time I was alone on a mountain.
Jeanne Robertson, me and my Sister just finding you and you are soooooooo Funny we have laugh so hard we got tears going on our face and legs, lol. Keep it up Lady because you are a Lady and I love left Brain!! We watch you all time and love you for your true Stories!!
Thank you for the small town giggles because laughter is contagious!! And we should always encourage instead of discourage and what better way to fight stage fright then to be ok with being less than the best as long as we a giving it our best...Thanks again for the warm heart and believing in youth and encouraging them to give it a shot and that even last place is a place....Never give up and never give in and if you can smile and laugh at yourself than you will go further in life because love and humor goes a long way. THANK HEAVEN FOR THAT 😇
I love her comedy. She is fantastic!!! I have tears in my eyes from laughing at this one. Pluses no horrible language, how refreshing not to flinch when those words come out of someone's mouth during a funny situation. I just don't listen to anyone with that talk so I know of no good comedy any more!
Connie Venoy while I agree that foul language is unnecessary, I think if you are so viscerally affected by simple words, there’s something deeply wrong. The Bible is not PG, you may need to re-evaluate your standing with the word my friend. Be well
@@LetsBeClear87 Um the Holy Bible doesn't have any curse words in it. It's God's Holy Word & God doesn't curse. I don't know what Bible you're reading.
Jeanne, you are such a delight! I adore your beautiful sense of humor and the ability to tell a story where you put me, the listener, right in the middle of your tale!
Ohhhhhh Miss Jeanne! I am in Love! The RU-vid Gods put you on my homepage... one clip watched and that’s all it took! You are absolutely precious and priceless! I have not belly laughed like this in some time! You see my “ left brain” passed away near five years ago now... I so identify and appreciate each of your stories! Your timing is impeccable, and your presence on that stage is heaven sent! I subscribed for more of you... please don’t stop, you are a natural born storyteller! As I said...I am in love...with YOU! Sincerely, Tere in KY❤️
Oh my gosh I really needed this right now. Thank you for sharing. I miss Jeanne so much but she is in her glory so I'm so happy for her. Love her & love you all soooo much
