Just wanted to say thank you for this video! Bought the lights you recommended, made it super easy to install, even for someone who’s not so car savvy. So thanks so much!
Your videos have been extremely helpful. Maybe you can Me? I'm running into an issue with my ABS module and I just need to know how to remove and replace it. There are no videos or tutorials I could find for my jeep. (1997 grand Cherokee Laredo) can you make a video on how to remove and replace the ABS module or point me in the right direction?
I'm having a hard time removing the whole rear lights unit after removing the three bolts because of the stock rear bumper sticking out higher than the one you have.
Hey your link doesn't seem active anymore anyone know what the license plate and third brake light are called or have a link? Having a hard time finding those 2
I just put mine in yesterday (2-16-19) and the reverse lights are so bright, I don't think I'll need to use my Nilight backup lights. I did however, break the clip on my driver side light because the bumper was in the way when angling the housing down to remove it. Oh well, the 3 bolts hold it in good enough. I guess I got lucky though. I put the bulbs in the right way on the first try for every single socket. I didn't get the amber turn signal bulbs because they are out of stock.
do you have a picture of the LEDs in the daylight? I bought other leds and you could barley see them in the daylight and i didnt want to get hit while stopping so i put the regular bulbs back in. I have all Led in the front and would love some in the rear lights too.
Hey man i really like your videos and i plan on doing a lot to a Jeep Cherokee that i might get and I’m gonna use your vids as a reference, one thing i would constructively criticize is you should definitely improve your audio like your microphone and stuff just to make your voice clearer to hear and stuff. Great videos keep it up
eriezaccord I’ve only had these in for a week but haven’t had any issues. The interior kit, however, I’ve had installed for over a year with no flickering or anything
The led flickering you're describing tends to happen when leds are manufactured with low quality or underrated components. They work great at first, but begin to flicker some time between a few weeks and several months after install. A module that is designed and manufactured properly should last several years, but will probably cost several times more than popular LEDs on Amazon and eBay. Check out Diode Dynamics. The prices may blow you away, but they are realistic for what it costs to design, manufacture, and sell high quality automotive LED modules.
I'm working on a turn signal kit. Unfortunately, LEDs don't work well with a trailer light module. Also, unless I go low-quality, the cost for a full Turn-Signal set will be well over $100. I'm the seller and personally , I think the cost outweighs the benefits. LEDs are brighter (cosmetic improvement?), but stock bulbs are bright enough for people to see. The only functional benefit from LEDs is that they considerably less power than stock. That said, I love the backup lights. It's nice to be able to see while backing up.
