I recently purchased a 2018 compass Trailhawk. I thought it would be a great looking car with some more aggressive looking tires on it. Being trail rated and all I thought an all terrain tire would make it look more like a jeep should. After trying to find an all terrain tire for it I came to the conclusion that "trail rated" simply means you get a shiny thing stuck on the fender. I promise to do everything I can to help people from making the same stupid mistake I did by even considering a compass. Thanks for the only car I ever purchased that with 1500 miles I wish I never got it. GREAT ENGINEERING!!!!
So if someone said go to a certain pizza place, it’s the best there is any where. You go and you don’t enjoy it. You going to preach to the world how much you disagree with his opinion because you didn’t like the sauce. Only if you was to do your homework and realize the type of sauce they use you never really liked much your whole life anyway. A shoes says fast on it. Should you be able to actually run faster? My head hurts
You should’ve known when you got the compass that it wasn’t trail rated and can only do a fraction of what actual off road cars can do, having said that I love my 2019 Jeep Compass. Remember just because it’s a Jeep doesn’t mean it performs the same as all models of Jeeps
I havea jeep compass 4x4 limited and I love it. I done some easy to medium offroad and is easily done with the Compass. I don't expect my Compass to do extreme offroad since I don't plan for me, for that one goes to serious offroad models like the Jeep Wrangler. What's s serious off-road : if it has manual control of 4x4 modes more specifically: hi/low gear.

I have a 2020 compass latitude , same thing I love it. Iv put it through hell for the last year or so and still really no engine issues. Of course iv broken a few features but that’s just me being dumb, and abusing the car. All in all, very fun car to drive and P.S, it sounds better when you cut off the muffler 😅😂
They did this at the LA auto show and the Range Rover went threw worse situation way more smoother, I guess with the price your paying to a Jeep this is the best you can expect
I don't buy this offroading capabilities of Jeep. I would like to see offroading at full capacity of the vehicle whoever claims whatever, there should be 5 people sitting in the SUV & then they should show how efficient is the vehicle as nobody drives the SUV alone on a long drive, at full capacity most of the features like hill hold, Braking, traction, hill descent, etc. gets affected due to power to weight ratio. I'm not a technical expert but With my experience I'm saying this..
Then buy the Mercedes Benz G-Class which is available in the Indian market for 3 crores... That car has unmatched off roading capabilities and is one of the best off-roading SUVs out there...
The clips are not continuous.. the car has suffered a lot in every obstacle.. i think its awd system is not like the one they offer in their premium suvs .
Compass is a horrible Jeep not saying the worst butt I had one here in California with 130,000 and it was just falling apart fix one problem then the next problem would start Highly recommend not to buy one
I have a 2018 compass and I love it except for that it shut off if you sit still long enough. Gotta hit a stupid button to stop it every time you start the car.

Compass is shoddily designed for off-roading. Not a car ye will be happy with due its low ground clearance and improper wheel articulation. I'd purchase anything but not this monstrosity in case of off-roading. Not a wise decision for off-roading for its price.

Jeep is far more superior than hexa that's true.i have driven both and can say, man compass is pretty damn impressive.Hexa due to its weight cant perform well on hill climbs
