My 89TJ is on 35’s with CavFab steering. My LJ is on 37” tires. I am planning on a redneck Ram hydro assist in the next few months for my LJ

Nice! I was originally looking to do hydro assist but I’m gonna go full hydro. I goofed on the one ton build with that Dana 60 I have so now I’m redoing it.

I am Ford HP44 / 9” rear. with 50/50 on and off road. What you’re building is going to rate full hydro. One thing to consider is that you are not going to be street legal.

I really like the setup you have for on/off-road use! How do you like it? It won’t be a street driven jeep often.. more or less if it does go on street it’s to the stores in town etc. luckily I live in Wyoming where big tires, lifts, etc aren’t cared about on the road LOL

Very happy with the setup. I consider 1 ton but I really don’t like the wide stance on a TJ. Weight was also a big consideration. Oklahoma doesn’t have vehicle inspections and they don’t give us too much of a hard time. Lack of fenders is the only thing a buddy has been ticked for. He owns one of the big off-road shops here so I think he was targeting.

Yeah weight is a big factor. I plan to finish the suspension, then work interior/roll cage, and then do some type of power plant swap whether it be a LS or a diesel or something. We’ll see how it goes
