Did you have any broken mainifold bolts , im worried about mine , it's intake and exhuast bolt so im wondering if thats whats making it start hard and burn gas , i was at 22 mpg , i dropped to 15 mpg last week ? Only check engine light ive seen was engine too cold , it went away , probably thermostat stuck for a minute or something . Maybe my valves are leaking a little ? Fuel pressure check coming ( again ) ..i think i just did the fuel filter , i gotta look and see ..

I feel like you should have done a head gasket since you had it out and the rear main seal. Just a thought my guy. Otherwise good video and the yellow looks pretty damn good!
Great video - about to pick one up myself very soon. This weekend soon! Just wondering - I see a lot of forums / fab dealers reference the dana 60 as a Super duty 05+. Until what year is that valid? is the 2005 Super duty the same as one from 2017 for example? I've heard in a few places that 2012+ no longer can support 5.38 gears. Looking for some clarity - Thank you for the video series. Dope to see it all happen
I read a while back somewhere that there’s a trick to running a 410 and down carrier on the Dana 60 to be able to run? Am I wrong? Or is there something similar to that for the super duty Dana 60 05+?
I’m putting a CJ style drop down tail gate on. You’d have to do some custom work to get factory to work. Clearance wise it will, just gonna require a custom mount. Hope this helps!

Found your vids while looking into how to restore my 2000 Jeep TJ, which was also my very first "car" bought new. Glad to know I'm not the only one that refuses to give up on our Jeep because they mean more to us than any dollar amount! so many memories over the years.... we should start a One Owner TJ Club!
Adjust your insulator on you mig Gun. When cutting patch panels, bro instead of trying to trace out the goofy pattern on your panel, straight edge and square off you hole. Then your patch is easy to mirror cut and weld in.
You would think they would have an option to fit their cage with their inner fenders. Any thought on having the cage powder coated? Yellow powder would look sick
Agree 100%. I wheeled and daily drove almost the exact same setup for about 10 years. Yellow and all. Also, is that $100k comment real? I’m building a very similar jeep and I’m nowhere near that amount.
Thanks! It annoys me that people keep putting new jeep owners on blast for wanting to do a budget! And yeah it’ll be up close to there but I’ve done a lot more than is required. I only want to do it once lol
