The bummer about these lights is that the switch isn't a plunger type of switch. On most hoods your light is off when the Hood is down and lights on when the hood is in the up position instead of having to fumble around in the dark looking for a toggle switch. I've never saw a vehicle without a under hood light until I bought my Jeep.

Yeah, a plunger switch would definitely be a nice option. I know you can purchase one separately and wire it in to this system. I saw an installation of this kit where someone did exactly that. Technically, you could just buy two of these lights and your own plunger type switch and wire up everything yourself 🤔

drillbittreed10 yeah, totally. You could even just order a couple of cyclones for much cheaper than the cost of the kit and wire them up yourself and tie them in to a switch system
