Looks good! Keep an eye on that RE Skid / Link Mount system. I cracked almost every weld on the Link Tabs. Not sure what happened, but I was constantly welding up cracks.

I'm coming to the point I've gotta get a little cheap car to drive while i do the big stuff. Im still buying the future equipment but soon my TJ will have to be taken apart (mostly) to do the surgery. Still months away but.... can't wait to get mine looking the way it does in my head

Heck yeah! This has taken much longer than I anticipated but luckily I have other vehicles to drive while I glue this one back together. Im trying to get the tub rust repair finished that has been a major PITA

I can see some issues with the passenger side upper link, Passenger side up travel, driver side down travel, axle shifts a tad. May want to play with the motion of the axle with exhaust and starter installed just to double check. Been following the build, Love seeing it!

This video took 2 months because of the issues your talking about🤣 I went through a few different upper link mounting brackets. Starter isn’t an issue how it is, exhaust is an issue that I’m gonna play with once it’s rolling. (For another day 🤣🤣🤣) but my thought is just piping it differently. I did go through and cycle it through the motions and all is well. It’s a super tight fit on that P/S side, I see why a lot of people 3 link with a track bar! Thanks for the support on the videos!

Pretty ballsy hard welding in suspension parts without checking full stuff, articulation, driveline clearance, etc. Full stuff and full droop are pretty easy to visualize, but articulation causes the axle to shift left and right under the frame. Articulation especially will drive the top link closer to the starter, and on the other side, will make driveline clearance non-existent. Exhaust you can always make work with some surgery. Driveline and starter, not so much. I sincerely hope we don't have a future video where you cut this all out.

I did run it through its suspension cycles I’m just bad at videoing it🤣🤣 that’s why this video took 2 months to do. Was trying different stuff and getting it to fit correctly. Not to say I won’t have to re do something else during the build I hope it’s not the front end though 🤣🤣

@@Kubicon If you did all that with a front driveline in it, you are probably good to go. One of my biggest annoyances is having to go backward, so I measure twice... ;)

Unfortunately I don’t have driveshafts yet or a t case for that matter lol there’s a company local to Cheyenne that’s gonna make them for me on the jeep. But I’m hoping it won’t be an issue! I’ve done enough revising on this thing I’d like to avoid doing it anymore 🤣
