That is a great do-it yourself inexpensive mod. Big impact for smaller $$$. Love it.

Another great up grade ! The more LED light the closer to sunlight your surrounds get.

There's a guy in NY on Wrangler Forum that will swap LED bulbs in the floor lights and map lights. You just take the boards out and ship them. The current bulbs are soldered on so if you're comfortable with doing that, awesome. They look awesome and really completes the whole swap.

Thanks Jason! your tip on wrapping needle nose pliers with tape helped me get my map lights out. My JKU is nice and bright inside now!

It’s funny, I did this 2 weeks ago. I almost didn’t watch this video. For the life of me I can’t get that rear light fixture to stay up. Glad I watched this and now I know how to keep it up. Cheers.

Did the same upgrade to my Jeep a few months ago. Wish the “map” lights up underneath the rear view mirror weren’t so hard to replace!

Did this on my Tacoma and its a huge improvement, should probably do the JK too now!

I love led interior lights, I made the mistake of buying some cheap ones off eBay and the majority of them died within 6 months. I've had good luck with some from superbrightleds

I was waiting for the finger burn! One of my childhood memories is burning my finger on car interior lighting back in the day man that hurt.

You should have stretched the video to 10 minutes by quickly going over your new tool / garage upgrade, or 3 minutes of Pinto playing. Didn't think of replacing the interior lights with LED. Good idea. I have been looking for an ambient light kind of thing to put light near the txfer shifter, but haven't found anything I like yet.

Ive always liked the look of LED lights in the interior and it is defiantly an inexpensive update. Ive always like DiodeDynamics LED lights. They seem higher quality than the EBAY ones. Some of them have diffuse lenses that make them perform more like the traditional bulbs instead of the pinpoint lights. They are probably a bit more expensive but seem well worth it. Either way, a good upgrade. When are we gonna get a supercharger upgrade for the jeep or truck? Boost that Jasper reman! lol. Keep up the good work.

Jason....Plugged the bulbs in the front dome and one of the switches for map light went up in smoke. Dome works great when you open the door but not sure why that happened. So spent $10 to spend $58 for new dome light assembly. Love your videos just wanted to share.

If you turn the dash dimmer switch on the turn signal stock all the way to the dimmest setting and then one notch more it shuts off the interior lights so they won't be so hot changing them.

I'm going to be in Colorado Springs July 29th-August 1st. Maybe I should leave a little earlier.

How do you wash your Jeep with everything around it? Hand wash, foam cannon, both?

Cool upgrade! I have stock tail lights and tag so it’ll be awesome for me! There’s also a a “rear glass lift gate dome bar,” I’ve seen. Looks pretty cool for the back area around your jeep! Check it out, thanks for the great content

They did not work on my 2015 Wrangler. I could get the rear light to work but the front two would only slightly work if I put one of the old bulbs in with the LED.

I like the warm color better then the cool colorLED. Do thay make the bulb in the warm color?

Very cool upgrade but I couldn’t find the bulbs on the link? I already have LED lights and it makes a huge difference.

Have you had any issues with them flickering?

Should have been the first mod for anyone, is swapping to led. Halogens suck, especially for interior lighting.

It would be nice if it could be done to the rear view mirror, so it matches.

What do you think of the gladiator?

Nice video. Would a passenger be able to read a map at night and the driver still be able to see well enough to drive ( reflection off the windows ) ? I drive at night a lot and still use paper maps about 1/2 the time.

I have ocd and the reason I haven’t done this is because the lights on the rear view mirror are amber

What comms radio and antenna are you running. I see the antenna in the back is super tiny.

I have stock tail lights and it does not replace the reverse lights that bulb is much bigger than the bulbs in the kit

I don't believe this particular set of LEDs are for the reverse lights. Only map, dome and license plate.
