Hey everyone I just had the Centerforce II, Clutch and Flywheel Kit and Clutch internal Hydraulic conversion done on my 2017 Jeep JKU, I picked it up yesterday. After one day I am in awe at the difference this conversion has made in driving a manual transmission Jeep. First the clutch is just amazingly smooth compared to the OEM clutch, the hydraulic bearing conversion is outstanding the pedal feel is night and day, the friction point right on, the difference is night and day. I have not taken it off road yet but will be doing that soon. My first impression is overall is 5 stars!! If you are going to change your clutch out I would definitely get the Centerforce Clutch and go ahead and do the Internal Hydraulic Conversion. Without any hesitation I will say you will be absolutely surprised at how well this system works together and made a huge improvement over the OEM performance. Also No more rattling!!!!!!!
I installed the Hydraulic Conversion on my 2009 JK with 92,000 miles. The feel of the Clutch pedal after install is so smooth and light it's amazing. This is a must have upgrade! I've only had it installed for a few days. I will update my comments once I pull my boat and do some wheeling, but so far.... Highly recommended!!
This looks interesting. At 300K miles on my JK, I am so tired of that rattle. However, the rattle isn't what broke on Kaiparowitz Plateau in April, forcing me to use 4WD-low's crank-in-gear feature to get down off the mountain into Escalante. It was that horrible master cylinder. It was only six months old! How about making one of those part of the hydraulic kit? :-)
What is the bleeding procedure with this system? Does it have a bleeder screw? I talked with Trent at EJS2022, complaining about my rattling problem. I would love to have this system. Appreciate any answers you can give me.
The best procedure for this hydraulic clutch system is vacuum bleeding after installation. Clean, easy and effective.... all you need is a hand held vacuum pump, Centerforce supplies you with the master cylinder gasket and vacuum cup. For more information see: www.centerforce.com/files/i12mi018.pdf
Is this available for a 2001 Dodge Ram with an NV3500? My fork, throwout bearing, and collar are pooched. The time is right for this if it is available. In addition, I have a 2000 Dakota with a 2.5L and a 5 speed I want to upgrade with this as well. HELP!!!
Wow! So many complaints about the clutch rattle on the JK. I've got an 07 JK 177K miles and the original Mopar clutch and no rattle. I think when mine finally does go out, I'll spend the extra cash and go back with the Mopar as most of the rattle complaints I see in Alldata Community and on IATN are aftermarket kits.
As a JK owner and a MOPAR service and parts employee, the factory design is trash, out of the box the bearing slops around, the retainer springs start clicking and then creaking, even if lubed properly. The ONLY reason to stay MOPAR on these parts is the parts warranty, get 23 months worth of use and rattling, come to the dealership, hand them the purchase receipt, okay the diag fee, and get a free warrantied repair on the part. I’m on my 4th unit. But, the next one, I’m going to switch over to this because it is a PIA. Plus I’m tired of people telling me hey there’s something rattling underneath your Jeep, like I can’t hear it 🙄
I hear a clunk when I let the clutch out Everytime..I wonder if this is my baby right here ..I think the slave cylinder is going so ... Send it ...just do it right the first time
Did you ever find a fix to this, I’ve literally replaced everything from the trans to the hydraulics, still get a clunk coming off the clutch like it’s slipping right at the last bit of pressure.
