Appreciate the video had to do this on my 2014 Sahara. I was cursing the fenders as they don't seem to flex as easily as yours. My upper tab snapped off because I couldn't get it to open up enough between the inner and outer fender but it doesn't look like it is going to move.
Thank you for your comment. You can always use a heat gun as well to help flex the fender. If your fender is painted though, I would not use the heat gun. Please like the video and consider subscribing.
You went the hard way u just needed to take off the 2 tabs in the outside of the liner. The one that was broken and you need to pus it with a hex key or something to remove without breaking. Just saying so they dont do this same mistake. What matters is that u got it done.

Those are plastic rivets. You are going to break them since they are "permanent". Just break them and got replacement panel clips that can be removed. That's what I did
