Omg I didn't realize Jeff was essentially Mel Blanc reincarnated. I actually thought Eric Bauza had taken over all those voices for the last decade or so, who is also an amazing Mel Blanc analogue. I would love to hear Jeff Bergman and Eric Bauza together.

Happy 64th birthday to Jeff Bergman, a.k.a. Bugs Bunny. He succeeded Mel Blanc in that role- ironically, Mel passed away on Jeff's 29th birthday in 1989!!!

I like how American Voice actors are just recently in the last few years going to conventions and realizing how much of an impact they all have. Anime voice actors seem to have known about it longer because they used to go to conventions before covid. I remember meeting voice actors in 2005 and some of them had been doing it for several years by then. At least the American voice actors I've seen. [American cartoons rather. Many of the anime voice actors I'm talking about ARE american or english speaking too, but their voices are more in the english dubs.].

It's so cool to hear so many voice actors grow up listening to the same radio programs I grew up listening to as a kid (I'm 24). I loved Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Red Skelton, etc, and hearing Mel Blanc on the Jack Benny Program was my introduction to the man, and then I'd watch Looney Tunes, and my dad and mom would tell me "There's Mel Blanc from Jack Benny!" It makes me think I'm not as crazy as I thought I was.

20:17 good luck! Rob could never get him on his show. Frank is just... so humble, he doesn't think anyone wants him to talk about himself for an hour. Which is incredible because if there's a Mt. Rushmore of voice actors, he is Washington. 31:10 see I would have loved to here Pete say that line, that's super in character for him. Maybe even too on the nose.

I would love to see Tom Kenny! It made so much sense once i realized Ice King and Spongebob shared a voice actor, but despite becoming fairly familiar with his voice i still get so dumbfounded when i see his name at the end of almost every Rick and Morty episode 😂 Occasionally its somewhat obvious, like Squanchy 🤣 Or ...that guy i have to look up... Mr. Stringbean, because he recites a poem very similar to Ice King's "Oh me oh my" poem (from the episode with the porcelain lamb statue) Anyway, that's always my thought process.

So wait, Berman didn't move to LA until 2008? He was still doing a lot of promos and voice roles in shows and TV movies, so did he do those in New York, or did he travel to LA for a bit when recording some of those roles? I'm interested in how these worked.
