OH GIMME A BREAK, JENN!! As a child victim of this, and he DID threaten me, i was only 11, so i didn't tell. A child brain isn't an adult brain. But as a MOM, if a man threatened me not to tell about abusing my daughter, I WOULDN'T EFFING CARE IF HE KILLED ME! I would fill the car with gas, drive as far away as i could get, and then go find a women's shelter. I suspect SHE KNEW. But if she didn't know not to send them off to sleep together, how ignorant can she be?? I have nothing against a family bed, but not with a boyfriend. Creepy. And her response to that picture, i would've screamed bloody murder and fallen to the floor, and...omg... She was dead! She's finding this out too? You would have to check me in to a mental institution. I'm not going to be ok. Knock me out. I'm not ok. How did she go on? I couldn't live with myself after that.

In my opinion, I think the mom should also be charged. She literally offered her daughter to this man on the silver platter, allowing them to sleep together in a separate bedroom. She is one of those moms who desperately want a man that they do not even think about their child, welfare or safety.

How can a mother … behave like this.. allow this???

Imagine how mind blowing it is to actually be standing with the killer in the room and he’s acting like nothing happened answering questions only later to find out it was him the whole time. I would be sick to my stomach. It’s infuriating him even talking

She greeted the officer with a "Hey there!" So calm and casual. It looked like she was just reporting that her purse was stolen. When I thought my dog went missing, I was sobbing, and frantic. I was a wreck until we found her.

My Grandma was so in denial that her stepson abused me she still talks about memories of him when he was little lovingly to me to this day. I've told her over and over since it happened and every time she says "What?? you never told me this!" and i have to tell her Yes, me and my mom BOTH have told you several times and you just say this everytime. 🙄 Last time she said "I wonder how he's doing.." I said "hopefully dead." she looked at me so hurt like she was going to cry. So now I feel guilty. Justice for Madeline. 🙏🏻❤‍🩹🪽

The look on Jenn's face throughout the beginning of the body cam before the officer started talking to her is so strange. I can't explain it but it doesn't sit right with me. She has never seemed to be devastated by the loss of her sweet little girl. I would be unhinged. At age 13, a girl, growing into young adulthood, needs her privacy. One of the things I appreciated about my parents was their "benign" neglect. They left us alone to do our own thing, and grow into our individuality. They did not sleep with us, and "snuggling" with my dad ended at about age three.

It is possible the mother was jealous of her daughter and isn’t upset that she is gone.

The language she uses is very strange: "was dropped off" "never made it"...such distancing language. No "we dropped her off" or "he dropped her off", "she never made it" not "she never arrived". Extremely sus.

Is it possible, Jenn dressed like Maddie, she stayed far enough away from that camera and Stephan knew that was the only camera, and they enacted Jenn getting out of the car, pretending to be Maddie, for Stephan's alibi? That's why she quickly corrected him 'black shorts.' she knew she was wearing that? And it's blurry and Jenn looks like a kid, she could pretend to be Maddie getting out of the car?

I don't even believe the whole "Maddy ashamed of car model" bull crap so is dropped off where the police will conveniently be unable to see her actually getting out of the car, let alone be dropped off. Maddy comes across as a very sweet, obedient and empathetic child and wouldn't want to hurt her mothers feelings by saying how embarrassed she is of the family vehicle. That was a lie made up that BOTH OF THEM ARE USING in order to deceive law enforcement they dropped her off when in fact they didn't. And absolutely confirms it to me that mom is complicit with the lies and therefore culpable in the crime.

What's even more weird is Stephan (I refuse to call him step dad) never typically drove her to school. So.... How did he carry her out to the car if she was already deceased, without ANY witnesses?? Unless maybe he left her inside of his car, overnight, already deceased. Was this mother so busy being an absentee parent that she never saw her ONLY child to say goodnight after her amazing 13th bday party, that she didn't bother attending!!? She should be in jail for neglect at the very very least ... And if the time of death determines that Jenn lied about seeing Madeline the same night of her party and seeing all of her gifts... Then maybe she is more complicit than we all realized. Food for thought 🤔

I do believe in innocent until proven guilty but the fact that the abuse was going on for yrs and Soto will likely claim she didn’t know or there were no signs of abuse is not believable. As a child of abuse I can tell you, behaviors change, and a child will tell you or attempt to tell you. No way she didn’t know or sense it and if she ignored it, it’s criminal.

Mom knew her daughter was already deceased when her BF left to dispose of the body. They sound scripted. Hours upon hours later, they dial 911 away from the house, likely to avoid evidence. What Mom leaves the family home when her missing daughter could walk in at any time? Jen/BF could have called Grandma’s office, but they made it the location to call police. Somewhere around 13:55, when the officer asked about the eye color, sterns looked at the mom as she was rocking vigorously, hoping that she wouldnt lose it ,and when sterns started talking, the mother's rocking slowed down. Reassuring. Her to the point she begins to laugh . His words were probably "this is going to work." They're definitely in this together . She didn't see this little girl as her daughter. She saw her as a rival .

At no point the mother cried in all the interviews I seen, she clearly knows something or she is terrified of him.
