Idk if the people in the audience truly realize what they experienced that day. They didn’t just sing along to a musical number on a daytime talk show, but were blessed with a brilliant performance by one of the most talented women in the entertainment industry EVER! They were basically at a mini Broadway musical starring Miss EGOT herself, Jennifer Hudson, my hometown sister! 👏🥇❤

Its because when she does it, it feels genuine and not hateful, manipulative, or closeminded and cruel. We all know that JHud just wants EVERYONE to be happy. She is like this generation's Dolly Parton in that way. This is why everyone loves her back. She is the true embodiment of what being a Christian is SUPPOSED to be.

What a musical treat. Wow... I hope the audience realizes this woman's brilliance and acting/singing and then also host a talk show all in one day. Wow.. that is some serious talent there. What a wonderful concert that entire audience had a chance to be part of and experience. Wow and they strapped her up and had her fly up in the air. Wow... major production value in this show. Unique.

This is so creative!!! 😍🎶 This is still one of my favorites until this day. Sister Act 1 introduced us to the icon Delores DeCartier AKA Sister Mary Clarence and the sisters. Sister Act 2 added a remix to it. Iconic!!!! God given talent. This is a great birthday gift to go back down memory lane. ❤

I LOVED Sister Act, but never realized at the time how significant it was to have such a role and it’s impact on beautiful brown girls and women who still were not seeing ourselves on the screen. I was just thinking the same thing! Or in a prequel montage. Just came across this video, as it was in my recommend to watch feed! Jennifer Hudson is a talented actress / vocalist. One of the reasons I watched Dreamgirls when it came out. She was on the presenters rosta on The Voice UK. Sister Act 3 though, tbh, cannot wait til it comes out.
