When Dionne started humming, I could hear the 1970’’ Dionne coming back which took me back to my childhood. I also loved, that as a singer, Jennifer recognized that Dionne could’t hit those notes anymore and took over the reigns! That was respectable and nostalgic at the same time.

Dionne is ICONIC and as others mentioned. I have UBER respect for Jenn in honoring those that came before her. She was a powerhouse on this song. As a singer myself i can tell when someone puts there heart and soul into something they truly love. And she TRULY loved singing this song. I think she should cover it and i'm quite sure Dionne would be fine with that. You only allow someone to cover a song if they can do it justice. Jenn can do JUST THAT and then some.
