Patti did what needed to be done 👏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾🙌🏾. She went INN and let HAVE. She would not let them high notes go. She's almost 80 at 78 years old and she still has the power and the range. Tho her voice changed with age, which is normal, she kept her vocal ability in tact.

My mom was the biggest Patti fan. We even dressed up as her for halloween one year. She died in 1991 when I was 9. I will always have fond memories of my mom taking my brother and me to King's Dominion and letting us run around all day and at night Patti would perform. Her voice would always bring my mom to tears. And to this day I always cry when I listen to Patti. Her voice and presence always makes me think of my mom.

My mother died in 2017 at the age of 82. She had often told us about when she was younger and used to go to the Apollo Theater and watch Mrs Labelle perform. This woman ( Mrs. Patti ) has been entertaining people for decades and she is still alive and lkicking (literally). Go on, Mrs. Patti. 💃

Patti La Belle played at the Universal Amphitheater in Studio City with a couch center stage, which she occasionally sat on while she sang. Heading toward the climax of one song, she got up, threw the mic on the couch and stepped toward the audience continuing to sing. Even those of us in the back could hear that crisp, beautiful voice as if she stood only a few feet away. She’s got lungs to spare.
