A debate rages over the credibility of the Bible. Most archaeologists today have concluded that there’s no evidence that the Exodus of Israelite slaves from Egypt ever happened. Filmmaker Timothy Mahoney faces a crisis of faith, “Is this foundational event of the Bible really just a myth?” He embarks on a 12-year journey around the world to search for answers.
Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus unlocks the mystery of this ancient saga, combining a scientific investigation with a retelling of the Exodus story to reveal an amazing pattern of evidence matching the biblical account that may challenge our understanding of history. Featuring stunning animations and a cast including Narrator, Kevin Sorbo (God’s Not Dead, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), interviews with leading archaeologists including Israel Finkelstein, Kent Weeks, and David Rohl, and guest appearances by Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu and Shimon Peres.

To David Rohl, Tim Mahony, and those bravely supporting this production in any capacity, thanking you for this labor of love falls shorter than I am able to articulate. Through all of you, the Grace and Blessings of our Creator is honored and Glorify His name. When ridicule from the Accuser and his minions hate and attack you and yours, hold fast with encouraging confidence and remain strong. To Kevin Sorbo, our mutual friend Albert C., was right in mentioning to me that you are the real deal when it comes to walking the talk of the your Faith. Kudos, thank you for being a role model when many in your profession succumb to manifest Hollywood's negative side.

Thd fact that Kenyon concluded Jericho was destroyed by Egyptians should raise the question of her accuracy on the dating of it's destruction

I have seen so many videos, explaining the time line of the Exodus era. That, I don't know who to believe. And, all these experts. Archeologists, Egyptologists, Bible Scholars, Scientists, and Historians, all have the answers. We just have to believe, which one is the most convincing to us. If, you believe the Bible. You can, at least say, that the events in the Bible did indeed happen. Regardless of the time-line.

The God of Abraham required No Human Sacrifice. The Canaanite people actively practiced Child Sacrifice. Baal and Molech. It happened. Therefore, we aren't brainwashing our children. Had all parents ensured their children learned, at the very least, the morals, ethics, and principles of the Holy Bible, the 4 generations walking the earth right now wouldn't be committing the great evil we all are existing in.

Point 1: Everything in the city was put to destruction. The people were not to take anything for themselves. Any precious metals went to the treasury. Point 2: Jesus wasn't born until around 1500 years later. No one knew of a Jesus Christ at that time. Jehovah went before them.

conclusion should be based on cumulative evidence. That is, you gather all the evidence and interpret the data, and follow the evidence where it leads. Kenyon based her conclusion solely on "erroneous" dating not on other evidence that she herself found. Every one of us even the so-called scientists or experts has his or her own biases or worldview. So my question for Catherine Kenyon is, if she was an atheist. Because if she is, that is one reason for being bias against the Bible.

1473 BCE was the fall of Jericho. 40 years after they left Egypt in 1513 BCE at Passover.

Why doesn't the Bible mention the fact that when the Joshua character arrived in Canaan he and his army of desert weary travelers who had escaped from Egypt found themselves face to face once again with Egypt? The Bible is utterly unaware that Egypt controlled Canaan during the period Joshua led his fictitious conquest. It is also unaware of the bronze age collapse.

The time may be in question by archeologists, BUT obviously the Biblical Israelites under Joshua were there at Jericho and conquered Jericho. The walls actually came tumbling down so that each Israelite soldier could climb up into the city of Jericho. This EVENT of the walls tumbling outward all around the city is a MIRACLE. An earthquake could not do this. Actually I can't think of any physical event that could cause the walls to fall outward all around the city to make a ramp for invaders to walk up on. Here archeological excavation PROVES a miracle happened. Here at Jericho there is PROOF of a Biblical miracle of God. All the other details of full grain jars not taken but burned with the rest of the city is shown to be true by the digs. Obviously/absolutely the Israelites and Joshua were there conquered the city as recorded in the Bible. The dig evidence absolutely proves that they were there and conquered and burned Jericho. This miracle of God is PROVEN by archeology. As far as I know, it is the only event where archeology proves that a miracle of God took place. The walls of Jericho tumbling outward around the city is PROOF of a miracle. Why does no one shout this fact to the world? Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Why doesn't the bible mention the fact that Canaan was under control of Egypt during the supposed five year conquest of 31 Canaanite cities? Why doesn't the bible know anything about the bronze age collapse? Why doesn't Egypt know anything about the conquest? Or of Israeli slaves in Egypt? The only explanation that makes any sense is the obvious one, that the exodus and conquest are fictitious accounts from 7th century Hebrews trying to unite a divided people with mytho-history.
