Ocean Drive is a series of local roads in southern New Jersey, connecting Atlantic City to Cape May along barrier islands on the Atlantic Ocean.
In 1934 the project was started and finished ten years later. The project created 5 bridges and 50 miles of road way.
To promote the finished road way The Cape May County Bridge Commission filmed a video in 1941 to show in movie theaters across the Sri-State area.
Some of those theaters showed that video in black and white while other showed it in color.
We were able to obtain the film and scan it for your viewing pleasure. The footage has been color corrected, to a point, and had the audio restored to the best of our ability.

If it wasn’t for my patrons I would been able to spend the countless hours on this video.
NOTE: due to the size requirements of RU-vid I cut some of the frame down.
