I met her at a church group, and around the same time; also met my best friend. The 3 of us were inseperable. We would always hang out in the park after church. She had such a beautiful voice, but so little confidence about it. She's very kind and thoughtful and she was always there for me. After almost a year, I mustered up all my courage to tell her my feelings, and she told me that she wasn't ready and was still healing from her past relationship. I respected that and just wanted to be whatever she needed, a friend, a brother, just be there for her until she's ready to open up again. The two of us would walk to her house late at night and sometimes I would have no money to go back home, so I'll walk all the way back by myself. I really thought she would learn to love me too, just little signs and moments that made me think like that. My best friend would always support us, but to be honest, they were always closer, I believed them each time they'd tell me that they were only ever going to be friends. My bestfiend would always reassure me that he was rooting for me. It was at that same park that I saw them kiss and at that point I didn't know what to think anymore, their still happily together till now. I guess some people just aren't meant to be, I guess I thought I was the soulmate; when it really was my best friend the whole time. Just wish they made it a little easier on me, I just wish they'd tell me. EDIT: Thankyou for all the comforting and kind comments. UPDATE: They have a daughter now and I'm genuinely happy for them. I've never seen them or talked to them ever since. I've matured a lot and found a lot of healing from working on myself. I'm now about to graduate along side a woman who sees my worth and loves me for who I am. I wish the best for all of you! ❤

I hate the that fact that I know his past trauma, his favorite pringles, have pictures he gave to me of him as a baby, his sweatpants, the build a bear we got together, the picture of how the stars looked the night we met, his favorite movie, his Jack in the Box order, & he’s just a stranger now. I can’t watch Bravest Warriors anymore, I can’t watch 10 Things I Hate About You, The Notebook. The fact that I went to watch the blue waves with him. Gave myself to him, skipped school to make sure he got up in the morning, snuck out onto the bus bc he wasn’t feeling okay. Took him to my favorite boba shop, went to his church masses even though we don’t believe in the same religion, met his entire family, he met mine, we went to each others’ family parties, I have so many pictures of him on my wall. I know his insecurities & where all his scars are. He knows mine.. I carried & lost his baby just for him to leave me for my bestfriend.. ? fuck love.. edit: I did move on & I was able to find someone who truly valued me. :) Thank you to those who checked up and replied, it means a lot to know that people were there for me even though they didn’t know me personally. People don't change all that much. I should've listened to my bad gut feelings early on in the relationship. Instead, I've wasted 3 years thinking of him and only him. I dated someone way back 2018 for almost 5months. I felt that she was the one and I was so committed and wanna settle all things with her. Be with her and spend the rest of my entire life with her. I love her so much and everything was so okay and perfectly fine, but she left me. Hello everyone. For anybody that's going through a rough time with a significant other please don't be down, you will eventually find that special someone that will make you happy. I was going through a super rough breakup about 2 years ago, and when I found this song I listened to it every single day. Fortunately the girl that I was depressed over came back into my life, and now we have a 3 month old Boy, and now pregnant again. Moral of the story is to never give up and keep looking forward good things will happen to you if you give it time. You are strong and you will make it, it's just a bad day not a bad life.

We knew each other so good. You met my family and they liked you, I met your family too. You were there when I moved during freshman year. I only met two girls in my entire life who I truly loved. I met one when I was 13, we used to go on long walks in the summer got really close I thought this was it but nah, I kept putting efforts to make her feel safe and warm beside me. Eventually she started distancing herself from me, not being excited to see me in school, not answering my texts for hours, she’s always had some trouble with anxiety and depression so I figured she was going through something so I didn’t bring it up. After awhile we just completely stopped talking and she broke up with me. We are on good terms but it’s just not the same, she said she still wanted to be friends after we broke up but we haven’t spoken once since it happened, I really loved her I still do honestly.
