I agree about really thinking about it before you get a tattoo. I "HAD" to get one on my 18th birthday. I knew I wanted an angel but wasn't 100% sure what I wanted it to look like, so I just picked one of the first ones I saw at the shop and didn't absolutely hate. It's not horrible, but I would have had one drawn up that I actually loved if I could go back. ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE AND EVEN TRIPLE CHECK SPELLING. My late husband died when he was 30. He always wanted to get a tattoo that said "death before dishonor" but couldn't because he was going through cancer treatments and was on blood thiners. After he passed away, I got one "for" him. It was a seabee (he was a seabee) with death before dishonor under it. I figured the spelling was simple enough so I wasn't too worried about checking it. The artist put the paper down on my arm and asked what I thought of the placement. I told her it was perfect, but thank God I noticed the spelling mistake (she spelled it dishoner)
