He looked really good for a 3rd stringer. It shows how stupid it is for the NFL to not have a professional feeder league. The NCAA is not good enough. Players need professional reps, and there is enough talent and the US population is big enough to support a league below the NFL. A league where undrafted players can get better and QBs who don't want to die warming up the bench can get more reps. It will also give coaches experience managing professionals until they get an NFL job.

If its all about drops then we should see new WR's with Sam Darnold still there. We all heard these same remarks about once in a generation talent when Darnold was there. remember the offense was slightly different when Wilson was on the field due to his skillset....that also made it harder for him. Once he comes back they'll hopefully use the same playbook to give him easier passes instead of just relying on him to sling it 30 yards downfield every time. Mike White and Josh Johnson have more experience than him obviously.

I remember saying NONE of the rookie qbs were worth a damn other than Mac Jones... Turns out I was right 😁😁

Mike White's skillset is just a better fit for LaFleur's scheme which is mostly nickel and diming and taking what defenses give. If he wasnt' taken out he'd have a great statistical game for the night like JJ did because much like the Bengals, the Colts weren't giving up big plays in the air and were content to give the underneath stuff. Which plays into Mike Whites' passing game.
