I'm 6foot, 255lbs. I love using it. I mostly pedal and use the motor as an assist to get up to speed, and on hills. It's a great entry level e-bike. Eventually I may get a full size one and keep the Jetson because it's still an awesome little folding bike that can fit inside my car without the need for a bike rack
Maybe adding a suspension seat post and a wide saddle would make it more comfortable for slightly longer rides or bumpy roads. There is a 30 dollar suspension seat post on Amazon that I’ve heard works really well and well built. But great bike my sister got one and was actually really really impressed with it. Think I will get myself one.
Good . With your height and weight . Similar to mine this is a good video for me Waite a minute don't go yet . And and and you spoke of the light front end all the weight in the rear . How well did the basket on the front work out for hauling anything did it make the steering too unbalanced
@@kevinlawsonseattle I don’t remember the brand. It’s at Walmart and Amazon. Way more expensive on Amazon. And it’s difficult to put on the bike but worth it in the end.
THANK YOU! VERY good informative video! Can you reply with how many inches from end of tire to end of tire? I want to know how hard it'd be to put two of them in back of my Kia Soul
I installed this wired one on my Jetson and it works great. I originally tried a wireless one but had issues with it. For this one I used a binder clip to attach the magnet to the wheel, and padded under the sensor with a bit of cardboard to get it a bit closer to the magnet. Has worked great from day one, no problems. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DK855HD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I mounted a rear rack to the Bolt Pro for the external Battery. You could purchase any basket to mount on top of the rear rack. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08QZVQHL4/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=joesfablab-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B08QZVQHL4&linkId=68b17f955e9b6c919f8112952db8364c
@@JoediyLab Its so extrange but thanks God its back. So kind of you, tell your wife that she looks like a Victoria's Secret model... that will help... Hahaha, they are something!!! Kind regards my friend!!!
Hi, Check your chain tension, Push up on the bottom of the chain between the pedal sprocket and the wheel sprocket. Should be pretty snug. Also make sure your chain guard is not rubbing. Also make sure your rear wheel is aligned even between the rear frame holes where the wheel mounts.
@@JoediyLab Yeah, the chain is pretty tight. And I removed the chain guard. But still the noise exists -- this is really the annoying part of buying big box bikes, that you don't know what "the normal" is really like. So could I assume that the chain noise your bike is making, if any, is nothing more different than a normal bike? If yes I guess I'll simply return the bike to costco and get a new one. I just got the bike two days ago and noticed the noise as soon as I put my feet onto the pedal. smh.
@@JoediyLab just uploaded a video showing the chain noise of my bike. could you maybe take a look and see if it should be considered normal? Thanks! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-605OCgTuJPE.html
Hi Belle, here is an article that describes the policy on limits of watt hours on a plane according to the FAA. evelo.com/blogs/learn/can-you-take-an-electric-bike-on-a-plane
I am sorry to bother you again but if possible could you please send me a close up of the basket bracketed on the handle bars. Thank you so very much. I have a little dachshund I want to put in it so she can ride with me. I got another basket but the bracket did not work with the handlebars because of the clamp was in the way as well as the wires. Thanks so much. A typical woman --Vicky. LOL!
Hey Vicky send me an email and I will send you some pics, Go to my About page, my email address is there. I know some women engineers that are quite smart, do not cut yourself short. LOL
Hi! I got the same bike and basket but can't manage to install it :( if possible, can you please share how did you install it or a close up photo? I went to the About section but couldn't find your e-mail Thanks
@@natalialaurent5613 Hi, I will put put out another video, but in the mean time, loosen your brake levers and rotate them up and slide them out of the way. The hooks on the basket should then slip on the handle bars.
Why wouldn't you just say how far you went. Very difficult to see your graphic. The topography is good to understand. Saying you went 11 miles would have been much more comprehensive.
The GPS was offline in the area I was riding. After 1 1/2 hours I really could not ride anymore. was way to sore. I mentioned the miles I went and then mentioned the remaining battery bars left.
I wonder how many calories you burn from this. Your app says 477, but of course it doesn't know you have pedal assist. Did you break a sweat from this?
