I listened this while I was working at the office. People started to stare at me because I was giggling quite loudly. I don’t think they appreciated my effort to not laugh out loud.

Limited government is one of the first and most important LIBERAL concepts. I haven't met a single person who considers themselves "liberal" who doesn't think government's job is to tell us what to do and protect us from ourselves.
I don't understand the hate for this guy, I haven't watched his other stuff and I don't care about awards he accepted. Where is he opposed to free speech? Disagreeing isn't the same as being opposed to free speech. He's not saying idiots don't have the right to call him and the other people mentioned nazis, instead he takes the piss out of them for doing so. That's what free speech is about: you get to say stupid shit and others get to take the piss out of you for doing so, and, most importantly, nobody goes to jail for it.
@@northatlantic2723 He's not calling for the removal of "hate speech" laws which do indeed send people to jail for non-govt approved sounds that come out of their mouths. And perhaps more importantly, he's not opposed to people being fired from their jobs for expressing opinions outside of the workplace.
@@johng1634 I was commenting in regards to what he said in this video. Hate speech is dicey, but i would argue that as long as there is no incitement to violence, hate speech needs to be countered with better free speech, not jail.

Anna Souberry wasn't called a Nazi because she voted remain. She was called a Nazi because she pointed at a crowd of Brexiters who were booing her while on live TV and called them fascists. The Nazi insult was a form of "anybody can throw insults around".
Free speech really means free expression of your *personal opinion*. If you say/write something is true that isn't, or you say/write something untrue about someone there a libel and slander laws. I wouid make the restrictions on speech as thin as humanly possible. We need more speech not less.
