We last dined at Jiko during our honeymoon and were interested in seeing how this restaurant had evolved since our last experience. This video celebrates the 2 year anniversary of The Theme Park Foodies! Thank you for everyone who has liked, subscribed and supported us in any way. For those that don't know, Jiko is considered the signature sit-down restaurant for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. See how we think it stacks up to the other Animal Kingdom Lodge offerings and if it's on the same level as other signature Disney Resort Restaurants we've experienced.

That bread looks so fluffy and amazing 😍 those scallops look so beautiful, my husband would love those! Love the presentation of them. The Mac and cheese look so good!! That filet really is perfectly cooked, 9/10, yum! Sounds great! The short rib is cooked perfectly. Dessert looks stunning, I love the colors too! Almost too pretty to eat haha! Amazing review and video as always 😊💜

Jiko was the only restaurant that we missed during our AKL stay - more than anything because it had literally just reopened we couldn’t get a reservation, but we also only had so many dinners outside of the parks during our visit 😉 It’s definitely a bucket list dinner for us, though, and that much moreso after this video! I’m not a big seafood guy either, but the scallops were definitely presented well. That mac and cheese and filet combo, though - that is RIGHT up my alley! 🤤 9/10, high mark that seems well deserved…and the same for Jay’s! I loved the cut-to-close on Jay as he experienced the gourmet Mac 😂😂😂 And the Kilimanjaro was a masterpiece. We just ate dinner, and I feel like I’m hungry all over again. Another simply bewitching vlog, guys! 😁

I don’t like seafood either and I tried it off camera and I was shocked at how good it was and how much it didn’t taste like seafood! It was tender & not fishy at all. Disney does filets & mac and cheese so well. I feel like all the signature dining restaurants have their own take on it. Jay actually added that edit of his face and it was perfect. Thanks so much for all your support guys. We ❤️ you!

We have eaten at Sanaa (which we love!) but have never been to Jiko. We will have to check it out next time we are in town. Your food looked delicious. I would love that filet mignonette especially - but it all looks so good. We subscribed so we could check out your other reviews in preparation for an Orlando trip this fall.

Another restaurant it looks like we will have to try! The bread at the beginning looked delicious - I would probably enjoy the Egyptian bread and the giraffe bread. The drinks all look pretty great too! The baked Mac n cheese and the filet meal looked amazing. Definitely seems like a 9/10 - we need to try it! The short rib looks delicious as well but a bit of a bummer it was a little dry. The Mac n cheese with the wagyu looks crazy. Yet another place to add to our Disney dining wish list 🙌 awesome video!

Great review.... Also awesome to chat with you both outside the Tiki Room on Friday. I was interested in your take on the filet Sam had. My wife and I had dinner at Shark Grill at Seaworld Sunday, I had their filet and it was "OUTSTANDING". You must try it! We are dining with the Orca whales Friday for our 33rd wedding anaversery. I will share details afterwards. Sincerely your "singing bus driver"....
