The masterful way the Rock and HHH weave between their real life personas and their wrestling personas is some of the best stuff I've seen in 40 years of it. The lines are really and truly blurred.

That whole segment between Roman, Rock, Cody, and Seth was simply a masterclass!! The cursing added so much to pass this off as being real! THIS IS PRO WRESTLING AT IT’S FINEST!!

The fact most fans couldn't understand whether it was work or WWE had pivoted due to massive backlash it's also made the Bloodline saga now with the addition of Bloodline Rock lot more intriguing. Frankly fans have more questions than answers over this whole storyline. Whether Rock will betray Roman, whether it will be a triple threat Match. But the Bloodline story is far from over.

The explosive vulgarity of the Cody/Rock segment was a great choice and I’m glad they went for it. The Rock screaming he does whatever the fuck he wants to do is legitimately intimidating.

Everything and everyone's motivations in this actually made sense Even Seth jumping in at the end on behalf of a guy he dislikes (apparently for real too) made complete sense

Roman has massive presence in general, but next to the Rock he kinda looked like his goon.

This entire event was one of the first things I can really think of where I don't think it would have ever happened were Vince still around. He would have micromanaged this entire thing into a giant circus act.

Even if this was a pivot and not the original plan, since when is it a bad thing to listen to your fans and give them something they want??? A disturbingly large number of people are acting like making WWE change plans embarrassed the company and is this major “gotcha”. The reality is that WWE smartly listened to their audience and is now poised to make more money than ever off of their happy audience

On top of the great story, we got to see all of the wrestling “journalists” cry about not being needed. And instead of still attending for first hand accounts and enjoyment, they all went home

I can see Rock and Roman butting heads (and then imploding) on the road to WrestleMania, with Rock using his influence, and Roman pushing his Head of the Table status.

CM Punk is a national treasure. He leaned into it so much and I loved it

Rock so blatantly being a hyprocite with the 'dont disprespect my family stuff' is wonderful. This is the heel turn they tried and failed about a decade ago. Likely because people do actually 'want' cody. Before, they didnt love the rock more than they just hated Cena. Now is a whole different ball game. The main event scene hasnt been this exciting in at least a decade, maybe more.

The press conference was the first time in a while that he was The Rock. The last few years, he has been Dwayne Johnson. This is the first time he has fully committed to being The Rock in a long time.

This was incredible and the live crowd played into it perfectly

If Matty and Nicky hadn't been such crybabies AEW would have beaten WWE to this kind of angle and been in much better position viewership wise than they are now. But they didn't so they can continue to enjoy their 'victory' in empty arenas and being the lowest viewed segment every week.

With the move to Netflix can we just get realistic dialogue like the press conf and backstage...

It’s so refreshing to poke and prod Dwayne’s ego.

1. This isn’t a Rocky Johnson family tree. It’s a Anoai/Maivia tree which is why Dwayne is the only child of Rocky on there because he was married to Rock’s mom who is a Maivia. 2. Yes… there grandfathers are actually blood brothers. 3. The Rock is actually a HIGH CHIEF. Look at the family tree and look at Rock’s name. Rock is the actual Tribal Chief. That’s the whole point of him being there so eventually it’ll cause friction. Eventually Solo is not gonna listen to Roman because Rock overthrows him. Rock is the boss. Look at how Roman was behind Rock instead of being ahead as usual. Rock vs Roman will be later down the road.

Still waiting for Jim to talk about that finish to the WrestleMania 40 main event! Can’t wait to hear what he thinks about that!

Ultimately wrestling (as an onscreen/in ring personality) is a side hustle for The Rock. He can afford (literally) to be a heel to the relatively small wrestling audience and still do his day jobs (movies and business)

I think it’s pretty easy to book this. You basically use The Rock like they did Mike Tyson back when he aligned himself with DX, and then flipped during the match. Cody vs Roman at WrestleMania will play out exactly like it did last year, except this time when The Bloodline interferes it will be The Rock who flips, he gets his moment as the hero stopping the outside interference, and Cody get the win. That way Cody gets the title, The Rock looks like a million bucks, Roman finally isn’t bailed out by The Bloodline, and the fans leave happy. EVERYONE wins.

Jacob Fatu should be there fighting Rock, Jey, Solo, Roman to be Chief. 💯💯💯

Here's an idea. Post wrestlemania, turn the Bloodline story into the Samoan family vs the Rhodes family. Bring in Dustin to work with Cody for like a year before he legit retires. The Rhodes boys can bring in some of the wrestlers Dusty helped train to help when they are outnumbered.
