Barnsey has been screaming rock for about 40 years! He's pretty darn good alright. Had a lifetime in the business. Used to head up an Aussie band called Cold Chizel. Was known for his ability to scream and roar on note. 🙂

This Recording and Video really captures the spirit and emotions of WIlson Pickett’s original track from Muscle Shoals with The Swampers backing and it has a technical perfection worthy of this Monster Hit. Like “Freebird”, “Louie Louie”, “Walkin The Dog” it’s fundamentally simple but touches everyone who hears it. Jimmy Barnes has proven to be one of the very few that can keep up with WIlson Pickett and Tina Turner in the Studio Vocal Booth or On Stage.
