Strings: b21 safe on block, gap closer, good in heat for chip dmg 214(4-high), 2144(4-low) d2 123(0 on block, knockdown on hit) 124(high, -4 on block, knock down on hit)

Thanks man. The Last tekken I played was 3,and I was a kid back then so it never really clicked for me. I downloaded the demo on a whim and didn't expect to have so much fun. I'd like to know the basics, so these guides are cool

@@Boogard I followed along with this video while playing against a CPU in the demo. I think what really helped me is that you quickly recapped the moves and their uses after showing/explaining them, on top of organizing the moves into general zoning, punish, then special moves

My first tekken is the demo I was able to beat it on ultra hard with Jin in like an hour of playing looking forward to the game still a lot to learn

jin's honestly too easy in T8. just remember your ewgf, f4, d2, and pokes until your opponent is afraid to press buttons. then start pressure with ff3 and hellsweep. the rest of it you can figure out by playing him.

I mean don't you "figure out the rest of it" by playing any character? I think it's fine if fundamentals are easier in T8. I personally haven't really played since T6 and Tag 2, so I'm essentially returning to Tekken after like 13ish years. Labbing Jin and learning how to do shit like electrics before I did story mode on Hard difficulty was the best thing I could've done. Arcade Quest and some ghost battle/other stuff before I head online

Wave dash is forward, neutral, down, downforward with no other buttons pressed and electric is the same thing but you press 2 at the same time you press downforward. If you google it you can definitely find guides and better explanations though

Not sure exactly what your referring to but if it's the move immediately after the combo starter it's back 3 forward 1

If you just dash forward and press back 3 it should be a pretty easy pickup. Just keep practicing

@@losk.s6555 start the sprint before you finish the f4. So that as soon as jin recovers from the kick he is sprinting. Keep running till your right at their feet then tap b 3,1

You just dash forward and press back 3 forward 1 it's not a hard combo at all. You might be going to close you don't need to run in all the way because the back 3 has big range. If you send a clip in my discord I can try and help you out
