Luciano takes over Strength Side with some Jiu-Jitsu drills and warm-up basics! You'll notice a recurring theme of moving in and out of seated positions. If that's too difficult, modify by using your hands, a cushion, or a block! Martial arts are all about mobility and fluidity of the body. Same here. I was laid off my job. I had to take a much lower paying job. I can't afford bjj, now. I'm just working on hip flexibility and Holistic stuff, which is fine.

This is such an amazing exercise that I am working on and have gotten to the second one and now trying to get more precise. I am 55 and have been working on a consistent routine of strengthening and stretching. I spent years on the extremes of loosing and getting stronger to only swing to the other side. Now I want to be strong, flex and mobile to not struggle and be stiff. This appears to help with flex and strength! I also have been doing a lot of hip flex activities. I am above average for flex. I am also a big girl but rode my bike to and from work 90% of the time and even though only 15-20 each way with 1-2 longer rides in the week. Also with bands for upper body and core. Love this and would love to see more and I am subscribed! If I can do these anyone can start and get better!

Helpful movements. I have never seen any primitive movement exercises using your head as a base (Demian Maia). I believe they would be helpful. Keep sharing the great workouts.

I’ve trained for 14 years in Koga nyn Ryu Samurai Ju Jitsu. It’s an ancient Japanese traditional form which doesn’t promote ground work, we know it but going to ground is not the focus. Anyway, just wanted to say that watching your ground movements was great, strong and fluid.
