JJJJound recently dropped their latest collaboration with New Balance, this time with the "Olive" 990 V3 which was much anticipated by the sneaker community. This Made in USA pair features quality suede, nubuck and mesh in a beautiful olive green shade, along with reflective hits and black coloured accents. #IZBAK. Note, I mistakenly used the olive laces from the Afew x Asics Gel-Lyte III for the shot by mistake 🥲🤣.. The actual laces are solid olive without the black tips and come bag-less! Sorry for the confusion!

Copped for retail on their site. I did not plan on catching these at all, but figured "why not?" and got in right away (Any real NB fan should have got that security question INSTANTLY). You can't go wrong with the Made in USA 990 and I love how they went with a more earthy muted olive green. The cream laces compliment them so well too. Overall, a great sneaker. Just like the Bodega 990v3s, this pair might not be a head turner, but it's timeless. Which is why this will be locked in my top 10 for sneaker releases this year for me. Great review!

These were a must have. I also prefer these over boost for all day use / long distance walks. I had some very mild imperfections on my pair (and have had the same in the past with made in USA models) but agree overall quality was top notch.

Got one on goat for a little bit over retail after the jjjjound release. Lives up to my expectations and went straight to feet. I'll call it a yr after I get my hands on the Georgetown 1 '85 cut and maybe the fire red 3s. Not holding any hope up for the reimagined chicago 1s tho.

Beautiful color but tbh these are the Genesis with just a different color suede lol. I love the green though, gives me Foot Patrol Squad vibes which is my fav olive sneaker of all time! Fantastic review Sean.

Nice review as always. Interesting, my extra laces weren't in a bag and don't have the black aglets. I ordered direct from NB in my country. I wonder if there's a difference depending on where you got them from.

You’re both right actually, I just realized I used the laces from my Asics x Afew Gel Lyte III for the shot by mistake, the laces for this pair was also bag-less and tied with an elastic. Good catch!

JJJJound is overrated for me imo. everyone can do a high-quality materials collab, nothing really special for me about his collab. just limited stocks and hype. he doesn't bring anything new to the game.
