Raise your low pass filter to 80 hz. Everything else seems fine. I was thinking of this exact setup for my 13’ Sierra cree cab. How’s the bass in person? Is it bearly enough, or more than that? Considering this or the 8 W3 microsub ported box. I have an RD 900/5 do I can power either one. Assuming they both fit under the seat.

What you zip-tied the output line converter to was your antenna cable. When you lose AM & FM reception that will be why.

What year is your Sierra? I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado Z71 LTZ Black Widow and I'm wondering how this will fit under my back seat? I think 2014-2018 all the same.

I have the same setup in my civic, JL Audio is expensive but like many other things in life, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!

Jl plays extremely well on small watts

You should add spacers to your amp mounts to raise it up so it can breath. There's holes on the bottom to cool the amp when it gets hot and laying it flat on the carpet there being blocked. And grounding to the metal floor with self tappers isn't ideal, you should always bolt it to the frame or something that is already bolted to the frame like a seat belt mounting bolt or seat mount bolts.

JL is the way to go. I've had everything from the W7 to the W0 and every JL sub has always impressed me. I have sold JL car audio for quite a few years and every client was always happy. I have since moved on from car audio to 2 channel home audio. I now have 2 JL home audio subs and they are even more impressive. JL is bliss. What is the name of the song that's playing?

A lot of ppl don’t know but jl audio’s newer amps like that one you’re installing does not require a loc it has dc offset and signal sensing which uses your rca to detect signal and therefore turning your amp on and off

You don’t need a remote wire with that JL amp…

actually an amp need a space to air can flow to the amp heat sink to cool the amp. i see u are set a low pass at 60hz? jL audio or another car audio brands shown recommended a low pass filter set at 80hz too ☑️ great setup, single amp single subwoofer same as my car 💪

I have 3 JL Audio 10TW3’s running on a JL XD1000 amp at 2.67 ohms sealed in my 2021 Chevy 3500 Duramax Crewcab. They aren’t loud enough to keep up with my Audiotec Fischer Helix V8 DSP amp with Blam Multix 3 way with 8” in the front doors and Blam 6.5 rear feels. All passive not junk crossovers or amp adjustments. All DSP controlled with laptop. I’m going to go with Audiomobile Evo’s either 4 10’s or 3 12’s at 1500 watts with a Helix P one. If you think your truck is loud and sounds good you are not even close to hearing amazing sound. Your at the entry level. Keep at it and learning you will get there but it costs the $$$$$. Also if your into real sound don’t have loud exhaust. Makes no sense.
