I’ve had mine for about 5 months now and my steering is getting worse than before I installed it. It started out great. I’m going to contact Synergy and see what they recommend. Thanks for the videos.
I would definitely reach out to Synergy. They have really good customer service, I had them send me out the updated sector shaft brace and they were very helpful. My copper bushing inside the brace had moved so I could no longer grease it, the new one has some set screws to fix the issue.
Great video. Be sure to mark paint mark your bronze bearing also. In 2 months I’ve spun 2 different bearings. All done in sequence, plenty of lube, also hand lubed on install, and torqued properly. It will loosen so definitely recheck. Best of luck with yours, I’ve since just removed bearing support since it’s been problematic, and left TB brace on.
Frostbite JL yes, replacement did same thing, checked every few days, had plenty of lube and after 2 weeks spun again. So zerk won’t line up to accept more grease. It’s becoming quite a common issue now it seems. Honestly to me it drives same without sector brace, Tb brace seems to me where the improvement is needed? Just keep an eye on it, hopefully yours will be all good
Jared Monez thanks for the heads up man, I’m going to go paint mark that bushing and hopefully mine stays put. I do really like how the steering feels now, I’m glad it’s still the same with just the TB brace!
Man I enjoy your videos. You seem so down to earth. You have done to your Jeep what I’m wanting to with mine. MC game changer lift, Synergy SB and also their tie rod and drag link. Think I should name my Jeep NEMO MONEY! Just got my Milwaukee 1/2” impact wrench to do the installs with.
Russ Elmy thanks man, I’m glad you enjoy the videos! Yeah the Jeep is coming along nicely, I do really like the lift. I also have the drag link and tie rod on order, so I’ll have a video on that when they show up.
This 3/8-16UNC x ¾” FLAT HEAD SCREW, GRADE 8 came off, and can I order to Amazon or any hard store? Please put a link of this bolt where I can order this Amazon or hardware, thanks.
That seems like a pretty specific bolt, I would message Synergy and see if they can send you a replacement. When I had to use their customer service line, they were great to deal with. Good luck and thanks for watching the video Jay!
Found out the problem axle move to the right a bit so when turning wheels all the way and back up is hitting the lower right front splash guard. So this mean i have to adjust the track bar turning track bar left to center the axle right? Just don't know why the axle move, all i did is take out the track bar to put in the new bolt for bracket nothing else. I have a rock crawler track bar adjustable.
Jay Hernandez I removed the plastic lower splash guard awhile ago, but your axle should be center left to right. I measured off the spring perch to the inside of the tire to see if it’s centered. Having an adjustable track bar make it an easy process. Just find out how far off it is the split the difference at the track bar. Turning the joint counterclockwise will lengthen it and move the axle to the passenger side. Also check your torque on the axle side track bar bolt, there is a little side to side movement but not much, hope this helps.
Any issues with the bronze bushing spinning or rotating? I wanted to purchase the brace but I’ve read so many people experienced this issue with the bronze bushing. I can’t justify $250 and then having to correct the problem myself. Seems like Synergy hasn’t addressed this yet.
Russ Elmy I’ve heard of this happening, haven’t experienced it yet but time will tell. I did paint mark everything and have been keeping an eye on it. I can say it made the JL drive a lot nicer, has a lot less slop in the steering wheel.
Hello I have a 2020 Jeep gladiator with a RC 6” lift witch came with a trac bar relocated bracket after a few days of the lift I when ahead and bought a rubicon express adjustable trac bar to 6” I had the shop installed it but they didn’t remove the relocation bracket it witch has me thinking what’s the purpose of ajustable trac bar if the relocation bracket is still being used any info on that thanks
Hi Jay, the relocation bracket is necessary with a lift that high, it corrects the roll center of the Jeep and gets the track bar closer to stock angles. This will greatly improve handling, as far as the adjustable track bar it’s job is to recenter the axle to avoid bump steer and other steering issues. So it sounds like you have the right parts for a lift that size. If you are getting any steering issues a flipped drag link can be helpful, you want the track bar and drag link to be parallel for the best handling. I hope this helps, thanks for watching the channel!
@@jaycee4477 that brace is definitely nice, if you buy the Synergy drag link it comes with the adapter to flip it on the knuckle, just need to buy a drill bit.
