Yeah they just randomly choose a handful of accounts in good standing and they let you nuke bots on a bot only world for an hour or so. That would be awesome to steam. Make it a game, what player can ban the most bots in 30min

While this stream was running I walked through soul wars and saw 100 to 200 bots in the single world that I was on. I wasn't even on the soul wars world.

The "bot busting" staff at Jagex can kiss my hairy 52 year old ass!! Getting a looting bag in the edge dungeon with hundreds of air rune bots running by and I pick up a temp ban while killing low level thugs. No recourse (unless you are a RU-vidr of course), appeal the ban and get a response that it's upheld because their bot busting software is infallible, 100% an auto reply and not an actual person that looked at the ban, just "we are never wrong". 21 years of playing without a hint of cheating and all of a sudden bam!! Do they give a single shit how insulting this is to be accused then have no way of defending yourself? I have cancelled my Credit Card subs on 4 accounts and just play the main now, not that they care about one player's money. Rant over!! Love the vids btw.

Bots absolutely have an effect on the price of big ticket items. Saying they don't is pure naivety. The reason it's not as severe is because the bots for raids and GWD are typically not widely shared / locked behind paywalls / Jagex also built a natural item sink into the game where you need high ticket items to make the higher ticket items.

For those think people might be falsely accused. It's not hard to detect a bot, especially if you aren't paying a sub or money to run specific high end macros. A lot of players think they are sneak. Having auto log offs and auto log on to take an hour break after playing for 3 hours or something. The reality is, human behavior and scripted behavior are completely different. No one plays exactly 3 hours and logs off for exactly an hour and repeat the same pattern perfectly for days. Just like no one would do the same boss for a thousand kill none stop and use the exact same banking pattern and inventory pattern and walk the exact same path every time.. Also, a lot of bot makers do leak information out for a price as well. If they are willing to charge you for a fee to use their bot, often they are willing to give up your info after you've paid the money. This is because the banned players would remake an account after the ban, especially if it is money making botting account, and resume the money making on new account.

You're just doing damage control for jagex and asserting false bans are an impossibility. I had two accounts false banned years apart for absolutely no reason whatsoever since I have never botted in my entire life. And I can tell you if you get false banned, which is totally possible, you would end up on that island, account deleted or locked and no one would investigate further, care, listen to you or even consider the possibility that your holy saviour jagex could ever possibly make such a mistake since a vocal portion of this community thinks they're perfect. If you get false banned, you are absolutely screwed unless you get that 1/5000 chance that someone blows you up on reddit or twitter and I can assure you with 100% certainty false bans happen and jagex is absolutely clueless and do not care in the slightest that it happens unless you're famous. Word to the wise, botters are the smart ones because jagex can never take their time away since they don't waste it playing.

This happened to me on there bot busting stream.. what it says in the appeal anyway. And it was thankfully temp. But it was 100% fauls and has happened with another account of mine a couple years back and I had to tweet for 9 days strait to finally get it reversed from mod twisted. Shit is annoying and scary AF cuz my accs have tonz of hours on them

And I was unbanned on one of my accounts for it. I cry because I have over 13k hours on my account. Why would I bot on it I actually enjoy this game and rather not cheat and being banned for it is just disgraceful. And it's people with your mentality is why it's not solved also for all the people actually lieing about it on Twitter or hackers trying to recover other peoples accounts. I'm on you tube actually voicing my opinion about there bullshit system to help bring light. Now I would understand more if this was a re tweet to a post of mine on Twitter trying to get my account unbanned. Also you must be saying mod twisted is corrupt for unbanning the first account of mine it happened to? I have clan leaders of mine backing me on Twitter that message mod ash and other jagex mods. That's the only reason why my first account was unbanned. They need a phone number to call so u can actually get to a real person and have them look into things with security code verification over the phone just like any other company. Just sad games don't have that and also you don't own your account jagex dose. So you can't even send them to small claims court for something that I spend 13k+ hours on. Just redic

the anticheat team knew it was a bot before the stream with the usual detection methods and placed them in the world for content. the loot you are seeing is the most valuable items in their bank, not the inventory. congrats on the super uninformed comment

bot busting doesnt solve the problem. its such a shame to let a game be overrun by bots. instead of making content like this, they need to destroy the problem at it's source. apparently their current methods of banning bots isn't working because there are more bots than before. they need to go back to the drawing board and figure it out.... unless they really don't want to get rid of bots since it brings in revenue such as bonds.

Most bots are owned by Jagex to A) boost their numbers B) cultivate player interest C) solve critical problems like supplying en masse caches to the Grand Exchange (onions, cabbage, and so on) D) Promote AI feedback metrics and third-party investors like Google to orbit our emotional feedback and even implement things like haptic metrics readings E) and most importantly, make tje majority of Jagex income, selling account builds and massive banks, because $10 a month from a bunch of janitors (at best) doesn't get much in the London industrial sector besides a couple tiles and an inch of floss for your front teeth that you have already ground to the dust hating your life for all sorts of reasons even before u started playing this god forsaken game God Bless the Condor

Thats not how it works, every single one of the banned accounts on that world has been flagged and validated through the bot detection system. But is there potential for a small % of false flags, of course. I guess for those few people they simply just gotta play one of their 18 alt accounts cos they're not getting it back unless they are streamer certified.

You clearly didn't pay attention to the video where they said multiple times. "This world is only confirmed botters." As in, the only people who are in this specific world is bots. The fact they said it dozens of times and you still didn't catch it is pretty damning for your comprehensive abilities.
