Another sunny day in Los Angeles as Air Force One rises up out of LAX after President Biden made a fundraising trip to the City of Angels. You also get to see the motorcade on Pico Boulevard, which was fully shut by LAPD while the US President moved under protection from the US Secret Service.
Air Force One today was one of two iconic Boeing 747s that the US President usually travels on. The US Air Force operate these two planes specifically for Presidential transport, as well as smaller equivalents that adopt the same callsign when the Commander in Chief is on board. They are known as Boeing VC-25As by the US military, and this one was registered 92-9000.
This time, the President of the United States was riding in the more low profile Chevrolet Suburbans fitted out the same as the Cadillac Presidential Stately Limousines. The US Secret Service operates these vehicles and provides close protection to the President. The White House Communications Agency are also in the motorcade with comms vehicles. The California Highway Patrol escort the motorcade while the Los Angeles Fire Department provide ambulances. The Los Angeles Police Department keep intersections closed along the route. There are also multiple press agencies and support staff riding in vans.
