I love JRE with Duncan. Been watching since like 2011 off and on, but will always smile when Duncan's on. The thumbnail alone had me cracking up, and the first 16 seconds alone is just ... *chef's kiss* perfect.
I always enjoy when Duncan is on, not only are the conversations just amazing, the costumes add a fun extra little something that's hard to express, but best of all I get to experience the unfettered joy that comes from seeing Joe with HAIR!!!

I started listening to JRE in 2010. Duncan was the first repeat guest that got me hooked on listening to the show. He’s still probably my favorite guest to this day…the rhythm of conversation joe and him have is truly unique
This is like that episode of Family Guy where Brian and Stewie visit different universes and each one is slightly different. In this universe technology has advanced at higher rate than our current universe, and the Joe Rogan Experience just so happened to take place during colonial America where podcasts are at peak popularity.
They have the best conversations. They aren't constantly trying to one up each other, prove the other wrong, or dismiss what the other person had to say. That's respect.
Growing up in Virginia, we were told all about the signers of the Declaration. It is true about their deaths, their homes being burned, and all of them dying in a tragic way. But, all of them signing this Declaration, made us a true and independent nation. That's what so sad now, that everything this nation has fought for, is being undermind by the politicians in power now.
Joe is not the best standup comedian but I love him for showing us that mirth is important in these crazy times. "Humor" isn't an ability to tell clever jokes. It's an attitude of lightheartedness--a willingness to laugh at life even when it sucks.
People will never really understand how ruthless/gangster the English monarchy was. Those hard times made hard American men. We need to be more proud of being American.

The majority of the colonies actually went to work right away to get rid of slavery, it was a complicated issue because it was a holdover from the British colonies, you don't snap your fingers and magically make it go away. That was the whole point of getting independence from a monarchy, that you couldn't just decree something to the masses. Colonies that became States had independent rights, but 3 Southern colonies in particular made the slavery issue very difficult. Thomas Jefferson worked his entire life to try to abolish the slave trade, he was stopped and shut down constantly from the British monarchy, and then from other colonies. He even complains about this in his original draft of the Declaration of Independence. He inherited his slaves when he was only 14 years old When his father died, and it wasn't legal or easy to just release them, it was something he was pushed into at a young age and hr loathed it for his entire life and worked to fight against it. When he was a young attorney, one of the 1st laws he tried to pass was a law in the colony of Virginia that would allow slave owners to free their slaves only to be shut down. When he became president, he shut down the importation of slaves and shut down the Atlantic slave trade in the United States, 3 weeks before Great Britain. However, that didn't resolve the issue of the slaves that were currently in the country. Read the records of the constitutional ratification, slavery was a very hot debated topic, something that a majority of founding father's and colonies were not in favor for, and yet people love to sit there and cherry pick the minority and push it on the nation as a whole. One thing you'll hear the Left manipulate and twist, I'm sure you've heard it before, "blacks were only considered 3/5ths of a human", but that is not true at all. The 3/5ths claus comes specifically from northern States pushing the Southern States to compromise, and as a way to protect slaves from being exploited and manipulated. The slave States were trying to use the population of their slaves to bolster their numbers so they had more political voting power, than northern States. The northern states shut that down by compromising and enacting the 3/5ths Claus, so slave States wouldn't have more power to push their agenda. Read the original draft of the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson ripped into King George for the slave trade, condemning it as a crime against humanity. It was an issue of contention for decades which ultimately led to the Civil War.

He's right that this country is supposed to be a remedy from power hungry tyrannical government. Regardless of what you think of recent events, guys in the 1700s saw fit to put checks and balances in place, and they still are in place because this country despite it's faults is in fact a remedy. Marvel at how we try and try again to erode it.
And with each new attempt by both Democrat & Republican politicians the remedy still works in the end. It did against FDR's tyrannical policy against Japanese-Americans in the internment camps, it did against the Southern Slave States and their tyranny in the ownership of Human beings, it did against a Crazy Right-wing takeover attempt in the capital in Jan. 6th that tried to halt our peaceful transition of power from president-to-president, and it continues to work with how Monumental the size of the United States has become over the 200+ years now. It may work slow, but it works regardless.

I prophesy Joe living till the age of like 110. He just has such a great attitude towards life. We could all learn how to take life and ourselves less seriously. We'd be healthier and happier for it.
Not with the Juice/TRT/other stacks and other things he does, or even DOESN'T do for his health. Can I see him living a decently long time? Absolutely! Especially considerably he's more wealthy than the common person, with access to private doctors, able to get surgeries/treatments near immediately/whenever fits his schedule while someone else poorer, or not as connected to the right people, would have to wait, & follow the doctor's schedule, and/or have access to stuff not even commonly available to common people. So the only thing that that will bring Joe Rogan down, baring any freak anomaly, is Joe Rogan himself. 🤣😂🤷🏼♂️
